Joe Thuney to the Chicago Bears: On March 5, 2025, the Kansas City Chiefs agreed to trade All-Pro left guard Joe Thuney to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round draft pick. Thuney, 33, has been instrumental in the Chiefs’ offensive line, contributing to multiple Super Bowl victories. This trade aims to bolster the Bears’ offensive line as they seek to improve their protection for quarterback Caleb Williams.
Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders: On March 1, 2025, reports emerged that the San Francisco 49ers had agreed in principle to trade wide receiver Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders for a fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The trade is pending official confirmation, as it cannot be finalized until the start of the new league year on March 12.
DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers: On March 9, 2025, the Seattle Seahawks traded wide receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a second-round pick and future picks.
Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders: The Houston Texans traded five-time Pro Bowler Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders for a second-round pick and a fourth-round pick in the 2026 draft, along with a third-round pick in the 2025 draft. The Commanders also received a fourth-round pick as part of the deal.
Kenny Pickett to the Cleveland Browns: The Eagles traded backup quarterback Kenny Pickett to the Browns in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick and quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson. This move allows the Eagles to recover draft assets and clear $2.6 million in cap space
Davon Godchaux to the New Orleans Saints: The Saints acquired defensive tackle Davon Godchaux from the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round draft pick. Godchaux, a Louisiana native and former LSU player, brings valuable experience to New Orleans’ defensive line.
