1. Chad Gable vs Konosuke Takeshita vs Adam Cole – Intercontinental Championship Match

Result:
A technical and high-energy opener. Gable wrestles circles around both men early, while Takeshita brings power and explosiveness. Cole tries to pick his spots, often leaving the ring to let the other two tire out. The finish comes when Gable locks Takeshita in the Ankle Lock, but Cole sneaks in with a superkick to both, throws Gable out, and hits the Panama Sunrise on Takeshita. As he gloats, Gable returns with a chaos suplex and pins a stunned Cole.

Post-Match: Gable shows respect to both competitors, but Cole is furious and storms off, teasing a heel turn.


2. The Young Bucks vs The New Day

Result:
Tag team dream match and pure fun. The Bucks pull out flashy tandem moves, while New Day (Kofi & Xavier) bring their athleticism and heart. We get a wild sequence of finishers – Meltzer DriverMidnight HourSuperkicksSOSTrouble in Paradise. The match ends when Woods reverses More Bang For Your Buck into a roll-up on Matt.

Post-Match: Mutual respect handshake, but there’s tension in the Bucks’ eyes. A slow burn heel turn is teased.


3. AJ Styles, Finn Balor & Bronson Reed vs Rey Mysterio, Ricochet & Mike “Speedball” Bailey

Result:
This is a spotfest mixed with storytelling. Reed plays the monster heel, while the other five fly all over. AJ and Rey have a classic back-and-forth, teasing their old-school credibility. Bailey gets the hot tag and dazzles. Finish comes when Bailey hits the Flamingo Driver on Balor, but Reed squashes him with a Tsunami. Ricochet takes out Reed with a springboard 630, but Styles capitalizes with a Phenomenal Forearm on Ricochet for the win.

4. Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly vs Aussie Open – Tag Team Championship Match

Result:
Strong & O’Reilly work as hybrid grapplers/strikers, but Aussie Open are dominant. Hard-hitting and stiff – Kyle and Davis trade shoot kicks, while Fletcher and Roddy chop each other to death. Match ends with Strong hitting End of Heartache on Fletcher, but Davis wipes him out. Aussie Open hit Corealis on Kyle to win the belts.

Post-Match: Undisputed Kingdom (Cole & co.) confront Aussie Open, planting seeds for a feud.


5. KO (Kevin Owens) vs Swerve Strickland

Result:
Banger. KO goes full brawler mode while Swerve uses precision strikes and heel tactics. Crowd is split. Highlights include a Pop-Up Powerbomb onto the apron, a Swerve Stomp through the announce table, and KO mocking Swerve’s swagger. Swerve wins clean with House Call followed by Swerve Stomp.

Post-Match: Owens shakes his head in frustration and walks out, maybe hinting at a character shift.


6. Randy Orton vs Hangman Adam Page

Result:
A psychological war. Orton toys with Hangman early, taunting his cowboy shtick. Hangman fights from underneath and gets serious. There’s a ref bump, and Orton teases a chair shot—but resists. Hangman hits the Buckshot Lariat, but Orton kicks out. Final sequence: Hangman goes for another Buckshot, but Orton counters mid-air into an RKO.

Post-Match: Orton nods in respect, but no handshake—he leaves Hangman to soak in a standing ovation.


7. CM Punk vs Will Ospreay

Result:
Punk plays the savvy vet, while Ospreay is cocky and explosive. Punk mocks Ospreay’s high-flying style by attempting (and botching) a springboard. They trade near-falls—Punk hits a Pepsi Twist, GTS attempt countered into a Storm Breaker, Punk kicks out. The finish sees Ospreay hitting Hidden Blade, but Punk barely gets to the ropes. Ospreay gets cocky, and Punk traps him in the Anaconda Vise.

Post-Match: Ospreay begrudgingly acknowledges Punk… but then flips him off and walks out. Rematch incoming.


8. Creed Brothers vs DIY vs Motor City Machine Guns vs Andrade & Santos Escobar – Tag Turmoil Match

Result:
Elimination-style match:

  • First fall: DIY eliminates MCMG after Meeting in the Middle on Shelley (9:33)
  • Second fall: Andrade and Santos eliminate DIY via double team La Sombra Driver on Gargano (15:18)
  • Final fall: The Creeds dominate with raw strength. Julius hits a deadlift suplex on Santos, Brutus Bomb on Andrade.

Match of the Night Contender – all teams got shine. MCMG get a standing ovation post-match.


Main Event: Cody Rhodes (c) vs Kazuchika Okada – World Championship Match

Result:
Epic storytelling. Okada enters as The Rainmaker, while Cody’s “Finish the Story” arc continues. The crowd is electric. Okada dominates early with precise strikes and trademark dropkicks. Cody fights back with grit, hitting Cross Rhodes twice, but Okada kicks out. They counter each other’s finishers in a stunning 3-minute sequence. Cody finally hits a Super Cross Rhodes from the second rope, but Okada kicks out again.

Final moments: Cody goes for a third Cross Rhodes, but Okada escapes and hits a Rainmaker. Cody kicks out. Okada picks him up again, but Cody counters into a roll-up, then another Cross Rhodes.

Post-Match: Okada raises Cody’s hand. Confetti falls. Cody celebrates with his family, title raised high.
