Match Type: 10-Man Elimination War Match
Rules: Eliminations occur by pinfall, submission, count-out, or knockout. The match continues until one team is completely eliminated—or until the surviving members of one team stand victorious.
The Arena Erupts
The arena is electric. Nearly 80,000 fans are on their feet as two of the greatest collections of wrestling legends ever assembled prepare for battle.
On one side stands Stone Cold Steve Austin, Sting, The Undertaker, Kane, and Lex Luger.
Across from them are the self-proclaimed kings of sports entertainment: Hollywood Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall.
The crowd roars as both teams stare holes through one another.
Austin and Hogan are nose-to-nose.
Sting and Hogan exchange glances, recalling the Monday Night Wars.
Triple H smirks at Undertaker.
Nash and Hall mock Kane and Luger from across the ring.
The referee gathers both teams in the center and explains the rules.
Nobody is listening.
Everybody wants a fight.
The bell rings.
The War Begins
Immediately all ten men explode into action.
Austin tackles Hogan to the mat and unloads a barrage of punches.
Undertaker and Kane corner Nash and Hall, hammering them with rights and lefts.
HBK and Sting begin trading lightning-fast strikes in the center of the ring.
Triple H and Luger brawl into a corner.
The crowd is deafening.
Austin whips Hogan into the ropes and floors him with a Lou Thesz Press.
Undertaker clotheslines Nash over the top rope.
Kane launches Hall halfway across the ring with a massive powerslam.
For the first ten minutes neither side can gain a clear advantage.
Every time one team takes control, the other fights back.
It feels less like a wrestling match and more like a war.
Lex Luger Stands Tall
The first turning point comes when Scott Hall and Kevin Nash begin isolating Lex Luger.
The Outsiders take turns beating him down.
Nash hits a sidewalk slam.
Hall follows with a fallaway slam.
Triple H adds a spinebuster.
Luger is in trouble.
But somehow he survives.
The crowd begins rallying behind him.
Luger suddenly explodes with a series of clotheslines.
Nash goes down.
Hall goes down.
Triple H goes down.
The crowd erupts.
Hall charges.
Luger catches him.
Torture Rack.
Hall screams in pain.
The pressure is unbearable.
After nearly a minute trapped in the hold, Hall desperately taps.

Scott Hall is eliminated.

Team Hogan/HBK/HHH/Nash: 4
Hall slams the mat in frustration as he exits.
The nWo side is furious.
Especially Kevin Nash.
The Giant Falls
Nash storms into the ring seeking revenge.
He attacks Luger relentlessly.

Elbows.
Knees.
He nearly scores the elimination.
But Undertaker enters.
The crowd rises to its feet.

The ring shakes.
Nash somehow gets back to his feet.
Undertaker grabs him again.

The crowd counts along.
