The crowd is already hot as three teams with very different styles collide. Andrade & Santos bring arrogance and a hard-hitting lucha edge. MCMG are slick and fluid, outmaneuvering their foes with tandem offense. DIY receive the loudest pop, thriving off emotion and intensity.

  • Andrade and Santos dominate early with stiff strikes and creative double-teams, including a double jumping knee combo on Ciampa.
  • Shelley & Sabin fight back with patented sequences: Skull & Bones almost ends it, but Gargano breaks the pin.
  • The heart of the match: Ciampa takes a massive beating, selling a worked rib injury. He finally gets the tag after ducking a double clothesline and diving across the ring to Gargano.

Final moments see Gargano and Ciampa clear the ring, with Ciampa hitting a draping Willow’s Bell on Sabin, and Gargano superkicking Andrade off the apron. They hit the Meet in the Middle on Sabin for the clean win.

Match 2: Bronson Reed vs Konosuke Takeshita

  • Reed slams Takeshita on the outside with a running crossbody, denting the barricade.
  • Takeshita answers with a blue thunder bomb from the second rope that stuns the big man. The crowd explodes.
  • Both men trade running strikes, Reed blocks a knee and hits a spinning side slam.

In the climax, Takeshita tries a desperate lariat, but Reed absorbs it, plants him with a Death Valley Driver, then climbs the ropes and flattens him with the Tsunami Splash.

Match 3: The Young Bucks vs Rey Mysterio & Ricochet

Type: Tag Team Showcase

Tone: Spot-heavy but emotional, with pacing and near-falls that build drama

This is non-stop from the opening bell. Rey and Ricochet open with synchronized dives to the floor. The Bucks regroup and begin to isolate Ricochet, targeting his back with double backbreakers and sharpshooting tactics.

  • Ricochet flips out of a double suplex and tags Rey, who delivers a furious combo of a springboard seated sentontilt-a-whirl headscissors, and 619 to both Bucks.
  • Ricochet tags back in and hits a shooting star press onto Nick — 2.9!

Final sequence: Ricochet goes for the 630, but Matt pulls Rey off the apron. Nick gets his knees up and tags Matt. Superkicks all around, followed by a BTE Trigger, then More Bang For Your Buck.

Post-match: The Bucks mock Rey with too-sweet gestures, planting seeds for future tensions.


Match 4: Chad Gable (c) vs Adam Cole – Intercontinental Championship

Type: Technical Wrestling Masterclass

Tone: Competitive, slow burn with a heel turn finish

The crowd is split. Gable enters confidently with his Olympic robe; Cole struts down with swagger. Early chain wrestling sees Gable in control, out-grappling Cole with crisp transitions.

  • Cole targets Gable’s knee after Gable misses a moonsault — Dragon Screws, Figure-Fours, and corner stomps ensue.
  • Gable makes a fiery comeback with a rolling German trio, capping it with a Chaos Theory—but Cole kicks out.

Ref gets bumped as Gable hits a top-rope belly-to-belly. Suddenly, Strong and O’Reilly rush in, hit the High-Low, and bail. Cole crawls over for a Panama Sunrise, then lowers the knee pad and delivers a brutal BOOM to Gable’s temple.

Match 5: Aussie Open (c) vs Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly

Tone: Physical, story-driven, with interference payoff

Aussie Open dominate the opening, showcasing their power and chemistry. Kyle and Roddy use speed and timing to slowly cut off Mark Davis’ knee. Cole is not at ringside — yet.

  • Fletcher nearly gets the win with Grimstone, but O’Reilly survives.
  • Late match: Davis goes for Close Your Eyes, but Strong low-blows him during a ref distraction.
  • Adam Cole appears from the crowd, smacks Fletcher with the IC belt, and slides out unseen.

Roddy drills Fletcher with a Sick Kick, O’Reilly locks in the Guillotine, and Fletcher fades out.

Match 6: Swerve Strickland vs Randy Orton vs Hangman Page vs Kevin Owens

They pair off early—Swerve and Hangman fight outside, Orton and Owens inside. Orton hits a double draping DDT on both men using the ropes, then sets up for an RKO frenzy.

  • Swerve stuns Owens with a House Call kick; Hangman hits a Deadeye on Orton.
  • Swerve leaps onto Hangman, but gets caught with a pop-up powerbomb onto a ladder Owens pulled out.
  • Orton hits a mid-air RKO on Swerve as he springboards — the crowd loses their minds.

Just when Orton sets up for the punt on Hangman, Swerve rolls him up with lightning precision.

Co-Main Event: Cody Rhodes, Kazuchika Okada, & Rey Mysterio vs Kenny Omega, AJ Styles & Finn Bálor w/ Bronson Reed

We get Omega vs Okada Part V moments. Every time they tag in together, the arena erupts. Rey plays the underdog and gets isolated by the Bullet Club’s calculated assault.

  • AJ and Finn deliver tandem offense like old-school BC, including a Magic Killer on Rey on the floor.
  • Okada gets the tag and drops Styles with a shotgun dropkick, then hits Bálor with a Rainmaker.
  • Chaos erupts. Cody hits Cross Rhodes on Omega. Bronson Reed gets on the apron, pulls Okada off the top rope.
  • Omega recovers and V-Triggers Cody, then delivers a One-Winged Angel on Okada after a Bálor dropkick.

Winners: Bullet Club (Omega, Styles, & Bálor)
Post-match: Kenny signals for the world title belt around his waist.


Main Event: CM Punk vs Will Ospreay – Hell in a Cell

Type: Hell in a Cell

The cage lowers. The arena darkens. Punk enters in long tights reminiscent of his 2011 look. Ospreay wears black and silver, nodding to his NJPW heritage.

They start with mind games—Punk slaps Ospreay and baits him into an early mistake. Punk rams him into the cell repeatedly, drawing first blood at the 7-minute mark.

  • Ospreay gets revenge with a Sky Twister Press off the cage wall — the first insane high spot.
  • Punk smashes Ospreay through a table with a Pepsi Plunge from the second rope, causing the medics to check on Ospreay.
  • Ospreay survives and hits an Oscutter through a chair, but Punk kicks out at 2.99.

In the climax, Punk loads up for the GTS, but Ospreay rolls over his shoulders and nails the Hidden Blade. Punk drops. Ospreay lifts him for the Storm Breaker — 1

Post-match: Ospreay climbs to the top of the cell, raises his arms in victory. Punk lies in a pool of sweat and blood, eyes glazed over.


FINAL SHOT:
Omega watching backstage, smirking. Cody, battered, walks past. The camera lingers on Punk, alone in the ring.
