Match #1 – Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way

Aussie Open (c) vs Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly vs The Creed Brothers vs The New Day

Story: The tag division is white hot. Aussie Open are fighting champions, but tension simmers in every corner. Strong and O’Reilly are trying to rebuild after the Undisputed Era fallout. The Creed Brothers want to prove they’re the future. The New Day look to reclaim gold and honor their legacy.

Match Breakdown:

  • Chaos erupts at the bell. The Creeds hit stereo gutwrench suplexes on Fletcher and Strong. Kofi hits a springboard trust fall to the outside.
  • Roddy hits backbreakers on everyone. Kyle isolates Julius and locks in a heel hook, but Brutus breaks it up with a diving headbutt.
  • Xavier Woods gets powerbombed off the top rope by Mark Davis. Fletcher follows with a moonsault to the outside onto everyone.
  • Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise on Kyle, covers—but Fletcher blind-tags and Grimstone Piledrivers Kofi for the pin.

Winner: Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) – retain the WWE Tag Team Championships


Match #2 – Kenny Omega vs Rey Mysterio

Story: Two icons from two different wrestling dynasties. No blood, no hate—just two elite performers pushing their limits. A passing-of-the-torch style match soaked in mutual respect.

Match Breakdown:

  • Rey starts fast with leg kicks, headscissors, and a springboard seated senton.
  • Omega slows the pace with dragon suplexes and methodical knee strikes.
  • Rey hits a 619, goes for a West Coast Pop, but Omega V-Triggers him in mid-air.
  • Rey counters the One-Winged Angel into a sunset flip bomb—2.9!
  • Omega dodges another 619, hits a snap dragon, then catches Rey mid-top-rope hurricanrana with a breathtaking mid-air One-Winged Angel.

Winner: Kenny Omega

Post-Match: Omega kneels beside Rey and raises his hand. Huge ovation.


Match #3 – Intercontinental Championship

Chad Gable (c) vs Adam Cole

Story: Gable’s technical prowess and resilience have made him one of the most respected champions. Cole wants to take the title and prove that he is still the leader of this generation.

Match Breakdown:

  • Mat-based clinic early on. Gable ties Cole up in amateur-style grapples, forcing him to the ropes repeatedly.
  • Cole snaps, going aggressive on the neck—Panama Sunrise on the floor nearly ends it.
  • Gable hits a Chaos Theory for a deep 2-count.
  • Cole hits a Last Shot—Gable kicks out at 2.99.
  • Gable catches a superkick, rolls through, and transitions into an ankle lock. Cole claws, reverses—but Gable deadlifts into another Chaos Theory for the clean pin.

Winner: Chad Gable – retains the Intercontinental Championship

Post-Match: Cole sits stunned. Gable offers a handshake, Cole hesitates… then walks off, fuming.


Match #4 – Bullet Club (Finn Balor, Bronson Reed, Young Bucks) vs Okada, Ricochet, Konosuke Takeshita, Speedball Mike Bailey

Story: Bullet Club’s newest North American faction wants dominance. Okada has assembled an elite unit to fight back. It’s chaos and star power colliding.

Match Breakdown:

  • Takeshita and Reed start—two titans trading blows. Takeshita German suplexes Reed like he’s nothing.
  • Ricochet and Nick Jackson have an insane sequence ending in a poisonrana.
  • Speedball kicks through Matt Jackson, then eats a Bloody Sunday from Balor.
  • Okada vs Balor is magic—Balor dodges a Rainmaker and hits a 1916.
  • Final stretch: Okada signals Rainmaker, but Bucks superkick him mid-gesture. Balor hits a second Bloody Sunday, and Bronson Reed finishes it with a Tsunami Splash.

Winner: Bullet Club (Balor, Reed, & The Young Bucks)

Post-Match: Bullet Club stands tall over Okada. Balor makes a “crown” gesture—they’re aiming for the throne.


Match #5 – Hangman Page vs Kevin Owens

Story: Two emotionally charged fighters with fractured psyches. Hangman’s inner demons vs KO’s pure rage. A battle of pride, fury, and grit.

Match Breakdown:

  • No handshake, just punches. They brawl into the crowd within 2 minutes.
  • Hangman hits a top-rope moonsault to the floor, clipping the barricade.
  • KO hits a pop-up powerbomb through the announce table.
  • Back in the ring: Buckshot Lariat—KO kicks out at 2.9.
  • Hangman sets up for a second Buckshot, but KO catches him with a Stunner. Hangman stumbles back, KO hits another Stunner, and then a Package Piledriver (callback!) for the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens

Post-Match: Owens looks at a dazed Hangman, then nods. No handshake, but mutual respect is clear.


Match #6 – Swerve Strickland vs Randy Orton

Story: Swerve wants to ascend. Orton doesn’t think he belongs. A generational statement match.

Match Breakdown:

  • Orton methodically tears Swerve down—hanging DDTexploder into the barricade.
  • Swerve fires back with a rolling flatlinerdeadlift German, and House Call for a near fall.
  • Orton attempts a mid-air RKO, but Swerve counters into a backflip knee drop to the face.
  • After another attempt at the RKO, Swerve sidesteps and stomps Orton’s hand, then hits a top-rope Swerve Stomp.

Winner: Swerve Strickland

Post-Match: Orton stands. He looks at Swerve, nods, and barely tips his head before walking out. Passing of the torch.


Match #7 – 2-out-of-3 Falls: Will Ospreay vs CM Punk

Story: Ospreay wants to prove he’s the best in the world. Punk sees him as disrespectful and reckless. Pure personal pride and competition.

First Fall:

  • Punk keeps it grounded, constantly targeting Ospreay’s surgically-repaired arm.
  • Ospreay misses an early Hidden Blade. Punk takes him down and locks in the Anaconda Vise for a tap-out.

Winner of Fall 1: CM Punk

Second Fall:

  • Ospreay speeds things up. Handspring kick, springboard forearm, and a coast-to-coast dropkick.
  • Punk fights back with knees, but gets hit by a Hook Kick, then a Hidden Blade.

Winner of Fall 2: Will Ospreay

Third Fall:

  • Punk hits a GTS, but Ospreay collapses to avoid a pin.
  • Ospreay rallies, hitting an insane Oscutter from the top rope—Punk kicks out.
  • Final stretch: Punk goes for a Pepsi Plunge, Ospreay reverses into a Spanish Fly, nails a Storm Breaker, and finishes with a second Hidden Blade for the pin.

Winner: Will Ospreay (2–1)

Post-Match: Punk doesn’t shake hands. Ospreay stands tall, stares at the WrestleMania sign in the rafters.


Main Event – World Heavyweight Championship

Cody Rhodes (c) vs AJ Styles

Story: Cody is fighting to preserve the legacy he built. AJ, rejuvenated and Bullet Club-backed, wants the throne. History, betrayal, and respect collide.

Match Breakdown:

  • Early chain wrestling. Cody hits a Disaster Kick, AJ hits a Springboard 450.
  • AJ locks in the Calf Crusher, Cody writhes for a full minute before reaching the ropes.
  • Ref bump. Bullet Club (Balor, Bucks, Reed) storm the ring. Superkicks, 1916, and a Tsunami flatten Cody.
  • BUT WAIT— Okada and Randy Orton charge down! Brawl breaks out. Orton hits RKOs on the Bucks. Okada powerbombs Balor.
  • Styles still capitalizes—Phenomenal Forearm—1…2…NO!
  • AJ grabs a chair. Cody ducks, hits Cross Rhodes, hangs on, hits a second. AJ kicks out.
  • Cody pulls down the kneepad, third Cross Rhodes, this time he spikes him.

Winner: Cody Rhodes – retains the World Heavyweight Championship

Post-Match: Cody stands tall, belt held high. Bullet Club stares him down from the ramp. Orton and Okada flank Cody as the PPV closes with a clear message: War has begun.
