OPENING SEGMENT — SWERVE STRICKLAND HAS HAD ENOUGH
The show opens with Swerve Strickland already standing in the ring with the AEW World Championship over his shoulder.
Swerve looks furious.
He says he’s done being attacked from behind. He’s done getting jumped in his own locker room. He’s done watching these masked men attack everyone around him.
He wants them now.
Swerve says he doesn’t care if there are five of them, three of them or twenty of them.
“Come out here and fight me.”
Suddenly, Juice Robinson’s music hits.
Juice walks onto the stage and says Swerve needs to relax because Juice has bigger things to worry about.
Juice says he’s officially in the Eight-Man Ladder Match at Collision Course, and when he wins, he’s becoming the next AEW World Champion.
Swerve laughs.
He tells Juice that he’s confusing being loud with being dangerous.
Juice says Swerve won’t be laughing when he’s looking up at him holding the championship.
Then—
Christian Cage comes out.
Christian says everyone keeps talking about Swerve’s championship like it’s already theirs.
Christian says he has been around long enough to know that championships aren’t won by talking.
Then Orange Cassidy comes out.
Orange says he doesn’t really care who wins the ladder match.
He just wants the championship.
Then—
MISTICO’S MUSIC HITS.
Mistico walks out.
Mistico says he has unfinished business with the masked men.
He tells Swerve that he will fight beside him if that’s what it takes to stop them.
But Mistico makes one thing clear:
He also wants the AEW World Championship.
Then Buddy Matthews appears.
Buddy says he doesn’t need Swerve’s help.
He says he’s going to take the masked men down himself.
And after that?
He’s taking Swerve’s championship.
Swerve smiles.
Then—
BOBBY LASHLEY’S MUSIC HITS.
Lashley walks onto the stage.
Before he can say a word—
JON MOXLEY ATTACKS HIM FROM BEHIND!
The two immediately begin brawling.
Lashley throws Moxley into the barricade.
Moxley answers with a brutal attack.
The fight spills backstage.
Tony Schiavone finally comes onto the stage and says enough.
He makes three matches official for tonight:
Swerve Strickland vs. Juice Robinson
Mistico vs. Orange Cassidy
Buddy Matthews vs. Christian Cage
Schiavone says the Collision Course World Championship picture has officially become a war.

ADAM COPELAND VIGNETTE
The screen cuts to Adam Copeland sitting alone in a dark room.
He says Kenny Omega thinks he’s untouchable.
He says Kenny keeps talking about being an all-time great.
Copeland says that’s exactly why he’s going to beat him.
And he’s not just going to beat Kenny.
He’s going to embarrass him.
Copeland looks directly into the camera.
“Kenny, you wanted this match. At Collision Course, you’re going to regret it.”
Cut to black.

BUDDY MATTHEWS vs. CHRISTIAN CAGE
Christian spends the opening minutes trying to frustrate Buddy.
Buddy wants a fight.
Christian wants to pick his spots.
Christian repeatedly attacks Buddy’s leg and attempts to slow down his explosive offense.
Buddy eventually catches Christian and begins throwing him around the ring.
Christian gets a near fall after a sudden counter.
Buddy kicks out.
Christian becomes increasingly frustrated.
Buddy hits a brutal series of strikes.
Christian attempts another cheap shot.
Buddy catches him.
FINISHING MANEUVER.
One! Two! Three!
Winner: Buddy Matthews
Buddy stands over Christian.
Then—
THE LIGHTS GO OUT.
The arena erupts.
The lights come back on.
ONLY THREE MASKED MEN are standing around the ring.
They surround Buddy.
Buddy looks from one to another.
He raises his fists.
The three men slowly enter the ring.
Buddy fights.
He knocks one down.
Another grabs him.
Buddy fights free.
Then—
MISTICO RUNS DOWN WITH A STEEL CHAIR!
Mistico storms into the ring swinging.
One masked man takes a chair shot.
Another retreats.
The third escapes through the crowd.
Mistico stands beside Buddy.
The two stare toward the masked men.
The message is clear:
They’re fighting back.

MISTICO vs. ORANGE CASSIDY
Mistico and Orange Cassidy put on a completely different style of match.
Orange tries to slow Mistico down with his trademark laid-back approach.
Mistico refuses to let him dictate the pace.
The two exchange counters and quick reversals.
Orange catches Mistico with a series of kicks.
Mistico answers with a breathtaking springboard attack.
Orange nearly scores the upset with a sudden roll-up.
Mistico kicks out.
Mistico fires back with a rapid sequence of aerial attacks.
Orange counters again.
The crowd is fully invested.
Mistico finally catches Orange with a perfectly timed finishing combination.
One! Two! Three!
Winner: Mistico
Mistico celebrates, but Orange eventually sits up and gives him a nod of respect.

ATHENA & ALEX WINDSOR – Women’s National Championship Tournament Finals Face-to-Face
Athena and Alex Windsor meet in the center of the ring ahead of their Women’s National Championship Tournament Final at Collision Course.
Athena says Windsor got lucky against Mercedes Moné.
Windsor says Athena has spent the entire tournament believing she’s better than everyone.
Athena says that’s because she is.
Windsor tells her that at Collision Course, she’s going to prove otherwise.
Athena steps closer.
Windsor doesn’t move.
The two stare each other down.
Athena raises the championship contract opportunity.
Windsor pushes it away.
The crowd erupts.
Neither woman backs down.

DRILLA MALONEY, GABE KIDD & CLARK CONNORS vs. TOP FLIGHT & SCORPIO SKY
The match is chaotic from the beginning.
Top Flight use their speed to keep The Doggs from establishing control.
Scorpio Sky provides the veteran presence, repeatedly cutting off Connors and Kidd.
Drilla eventually catches Dante with a huge strike.
Kidd dominates the center of the ring.
Top Flight rally with a series of dives.
Scorpio Sky nearly scores the victory.
The Doggs recover.
The final moments see Drilla hit a devastating finishing maneuver while Kidd prevents a save.
Winners: Drilla Maloney, Gabe Kidd & Clark Connors
But they don’t get to celebrate.
The Bang Bang Gang come out.
Then—
The Conglomeration.
The two groups immediately begin fighting.
Juice Robinson and Mark Briscoe trade punches.
Austin Gunn attacks Roderick Strong.
Orange Cassidy joins the fight.
The Doggs swarm everyone.
Security pours down.
The ring becomes completely chaotic.

MERCEDES MONÉ vs. HARLEY CAMERON
Mercedes Moné enters with one goal.
Championship gold.
She tells the camera before the match that she has been watching the Women’s National Championship Tournament.
She says whether Athena or Windsor wins, she’s coming for the gold.
Harley tries to catch Mercedes off guard early.
Mercedes quickly takes control.
She hits a series of precise strikes and counters.
Harley gets one huge near fall.
Mercedes kicks out.
Mercedes becomes serious.
She hits her finishing combination.
Winner: Mercedes Moné
Mercedes grabs a microphone.
“I’m coming for gold.”

JAMIE HAYTER ARRIVES
Jamie Hayter walks toward the ring ahead of the next matches.
At the same time, Mercedes Moné is walking backstage.
The two pass each other.
They bump shoulders.
Mercedes turns around.
Hayter turns around.
They stare at each other.
Mercedes says something under her breath.
Hayter shoves her.
Mercedes shoves back.
The two briefly brawl before officials separate them.
Hayter continues toward the ring.
Mercedes watches her walk away.

DAVID FINLAY / JAY WHITE BACKSTAGE FIGHT
David Finlay is backstage cutting a promo about Jay White.
Finlay says Jay thinks he can walk into Redemption and take his championship.
Finlay says Jay has another thing coming.
Jay White suddenly appears.
The two immediately start fighting.
Finlay throws Jay into a wall.
Jay answers with a brutal strike.
Officials rush in.
The two continue trying to get at each other.
Eventually security pulls them apart.
Jay screams:
“I’m taking your title!”
Finlay screams back:
“You’ll have to kill me!”

KRIS STATLANDER vs. ZAYDA STEEL
Statlander dominates the early portion of the match.
Zayda Steel attempts to use her speed but gets caught repeatedly.
Statlander powers her across the ring.
Zayda manages a brief comeback.
She lands a big strike and gets a close two-count.
Statlander immediately regains control.
She hits a huge spinning maneuver.
Winner: Kris Statlander
Statlander stands tall.

TONI STORM vs. BILLIE STARKZ
Toni Storm enters furious after being embarrassed by Kris Statlander.
Billie Starkz tries to capitalize on the distraction.
Toni repeatedly mocks Billie.
Billie fires back with aggressive offense.
Toni survives a near fall.
Billie hits a big top-rope attack.
Toni kicks out.
Toni finally takes control.
She hits her finishing sequence.
Winner: Toni Storm
Toni grabs a microphone and says:
“Jamie. Kris. Your champion is coming.”

Matthew and Nicholas Jackson sit together.
Matthew says New Day thinks they’re the future.
Nicholas says they’re going to prove otherwise.
They promise to destroy New Day at Collision Course.

NEW DAY VIGNETTE
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods respond.
Kofi says the Bucks are obsessed with proving they’re the best.
Woods says New Day doesn’t need to talk about being the best.
They just need to beat the Bucks.
Both teams promise victory.

JON MOXLEY, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI, PAC & DANIEL GARCIA vs. BOBBY LASHLEY, SHELTON BENJAMIN, SHANE TAYLOR & LEE MORIARTY – STREET FIGHT
The match immediately becomes a war.
Moxley and Lashley find each other again.
They brawl around ringside.
Claudio and Shane Taylor exchange brutal strikes.
PAC uses weapons to his advantage.
Daniel Garcia repeatedly targets Moriarty.
Shelton Benjamin attacks PAC from behind with a chair.
PAC responds with a vicious attack.
Moxley and Lashley fight through the crowd.
Claudio throws Shane Taylor through a table.
Garcia and Moriarty fight onto the entrance ramp.
The match becomes completely uncontrollable.
The final sequence sees Moxley hit Shelton with the Death Rider.
Claudio prevents Taylor from making the save.
PAC takes out Moriarty.
Garcia covers Shelton.
One! Two! Three!
Winners: Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC & Daniel Garcia
The Death Riders stand tall.
But Moxley immediately looks toward the entrance.
He’s waiting for Lashley.

KENNY OMEGA VIGNETTE
Kenny Omega sits in a dark room.
He says Adam Copeland wants to embarrass him.
Kenny laughs.
He says Copeland is forgetting who he’s dealing with.
Kenny says he’s been doing this at the highest level for decades.
He says Copeland may be an all-time great.
But so is Kenny Omega.
At Collision Course, Kenny says he’ll prove exactly who the better all-time great is.
“Adam, you wanted Kenny Omega. Now you’re getting him.”

SWERVE STRICKLAND vs. JUICE ROBINSON
MAIN EVENT
Juice enters convinced that this is his chance to prove he belongs in the World Championship picture.
Swerve enters furious.
The bell rings.
Juice immediately attacks.
Swerve responds with brutal strikes.
Juice tries to slow Swerve down and repeatedly targets his injured back from the masked men’s attacks.
Swerve fights through it.
He hits a huge kick.
Juice survives.
Juice nearly wins after a sudden counter.
Swerve kicks out.
Juice can’t believe it.
He tries another attack.
Swerve catches him.
HOUSE CALL.
Juice staggers.
Swerve hits another devastating attack.
Winner: Swerve Strickland
Swerve grabs his championship.
He raises it.
Then—
THE LIGHTS GO OUT
The crowd erupts.
When the lights return—
THREE MASKED MEN are standing around the ring.
Swerve looks at them.
He smiles.
“Finally.”
The three men move toward him.
Swerve attacks first.
He takes one down.
Then another.
A third catches him from behind.
Swerve fights free.
The masked men swarm him.
Then—
BUDDY MATTHEWS’ MUSIC HITS.
Buddy runs down.
Then—
MISTICO.
The two men storm the ring.
Now it’s three against three.
Swerve, Buddy and Mistico begin beating the masked men back.
Swerve gets one in the corner.
Buddy hits another with a brutal strike.
Mistico launches himself at the third.
For the first time, the masked men are in trouble.
They retreat.
Then—
THE ARENA ERUPTS.
A familiar theme hits.
BRODY KING IS BACK.
The crowd goes insane.
Brody slowly marches onto the stage.
He looks toward the ring.
Then toward the three masked men.
The masked men immediately begin retreating.
Brody starts walking faster.
The three masked men run.
Brody chases them down the entrance ramp.
The masked men disappear into the crowd.
Brody stops.
He turns around.
Swerve, Buddy and Mistico are standing together in the ring.
Brody walks toward them.
The four men stare at each other.
Swerve looks down at his championship.
Then—
Brody reaches down.
He picks up Swerve’s AEW World Championship.
Brody holds it in his hands.
Swerve looks at him.
Buddy looks at him.
Mistico looks at him.
Brody raises the championship slightly.
The show ends on the image of Brody King holding the AEW World Championship while Swerve stands directly across from him.
