The masked men have taken out Swerve, Bandido and Brody King. Now AEW begins the road to the biggest night yet.

OPENING SEGMENT — TONY SCHIAVONE MAKES A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT
The show opens with Tony Schiavone standing in the ring. The mood is noticeably different after last week’s horrifying ending. Tony says the AEW medical team has spent the entire week evaluating Bandido, and unfortunately, he has been medically ruled out of competition following the attack by the five masked men.
The crowd boos.
Tony then announces that AEW has made a decision.
At Collision Course, there will be an Eight-Man Ladder Match.
The winner will become the new Number One Contender for the AEW World Championship and will challenge Swerve Strickland for the championship in the main event of Collision Course that same night.
Tony says the eight participants will be announced next week.
The crowd erupts.
Tony finishes by saying:
“Bandido earned his opportunity. Unfortunately, now eight other men are going to have to fight for it.”
The camera cuts backstage.
Swerve Strickland is shown watching the announcement.
His face is serious.

KENNY OMEGA vs. CHRISTIAN
The rivalry between Kenny Omega and Christian finally explodes into a one-on-one match.
Christian spends the opening minutes deliberately frustrating Kenny, constantly escaping to the ropes and forcing Omega to chase him. Kenny eventually catches him and unloads with a series of chops and snapdragon suplexes.
Christian shifts his strategy, attacking Omega’s neck and shoulder.
The match becomes increasingly physical.
Omega hits a V-Trigger.
Christian survives.
Christian catches Omega with a spear.
One! Two!
Omega kicks out.
Christian becomes furious and starts mocking Omega.
Omega responds with another V-Trigger.
Christian ducks.
Omega accidentally hits Cope, who had been standing at ringside trying to keep the situation under control.
Cope drops.
Kenny freezes.
Christian immediately takes advantage, attacking Omega from behind.
The match continues with Kenny visibly distracted by what happened.
Christian attempts to steal the victory, but Omega kicks out.
Kenny finally regains control.
He hits a series of V-Triggers.
Then the One-Winged Angel.
One! Two! Three!
Winner: Kenny Omega
Omega immediately rolls out of the ring and checks on Cope.
Cope slowly gets up.
He looks at Kenny.
Kenny tries explaining that it was an accident.
Cope suddenly punches him.
Kenny is stunned.
Cope unloads on him around ringside.
Security rushes down.
Cope grabs a microphone.
Cope: “You hit me once by accident. Do it again when you know it’s coming.”
Cope challenges Kenny Omega to a match.
Kenny stares at him.
The challenge is accepted.

MINA SHIRAKAWA vs. ALEX WINDSOR
Women’s National Championship Tournament
Alex Windsor enters riding the biggest upset of her AEW career after defeating Mercedes Moné.
Mina Shirakawa doesn’t underestimate her.
The two begin with a technical exchange before Mina starts using her speed and precision to keep Windsor off balance.
Windsor answers with power.
She repeatedly drives Mina into the mat and controls the center of the ring.
Mina targets Windsor’s arm, attempting to neutralize her strength advantage.
Windsor fights back with a massive clothesline.
Mina kicks out.
The final minutes become extremely competitive.
Mina attempts her finishing combination.
Windsor counters.
Windsor goes for her own finishing move.
Mina escapes.
Both women trade strikes.
Mina finally catches Windsor with a perfectly timed counter and immediately follows with her finishing sequence.
One! Two! Three!
Winner: Alex Windsor
The arena erupts.
Mina sits in the ring disappointed but eventually offers Windsor a handshake.
Windsor accepts.

TAG TEAM OPEN CHALLENGE
The Young Bucks come to the ring for their Tag Team Open Challenge.
Matthew Jackson says after everything that’s happened, they aren’t waiting for Collision Course to prove they’re the best tag team in AEW.
Nicholas says they’re issuing an open challenge tonight.
The Hurt Syndicate’s music hits.
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin walk onto the stage.
Lashley says the Bucks want a fight.
They’ve got one.
The two teams meet in the ring.
The Bucks try immediately to use their speed, but Lashley powers Matthew across the ring.
Shelton cuts off Nicholas.
The match quickly becomes a battle between the Bucks’ experience and Hurt Syndicate’s strength.
Matthew manages to isolate Shelton and hits a series of superkicks.
Nicholas dives onto Lashley.
The Bucks look ready to win.
But Lashley catches Matthew.
Shelton grabs Nicholas.
The Hurt Syndicate nearly finishes them.
Then—
The Death Riders appear.
Moxley walks onto the stage.
Garcia is standing beside him.
Garcia distracts the referee from the apron.
Lashley turns toward the commotion.
Moxley enters the ring.
He grabs Shelton Benjamin.
DEATH RIDER.
The referee finally turns around.
The Bucks immediately capitalize.
Matthew covers Shelton.
One! Two! Three!
Winners: The Young Bucks
Lashley realizes what happened.
He turns toward the entrance.
Moxley is already gone.
The Hurt Syndicate are furious.
The Bucks escape up the ramp.

NEW DAY’S TAG TEAM OPEN CHALLENGE
The New Day comes out immediately afterward.
Kofi Kingston says if the Bucks are going to issue an open challenge, so are they.
Xavier Woods says they aren’t going to let the Bucks steal the spotlight.
New Day issue their own challenge.
The arena suddenly hears familiar music.
JURASSIC EXPRESS.
Jack Perry and Luchasaurus walk onto the stage.
Perry smiles.
He says New Day wanted an open challenge.
They’ve got one.
The match begins with Kofi and Perry exchanging athletic counters.
Luchasaurus changes everything when he enters.
He overwhelms Kofi with his size and power.
Woods eventually gets the tag and attacks Luchasaurus from behind.
New Day works together to isolate Perry.
Perry eventually escapes and tags Luchasaurus.
The big man runs wild.
Kofi is nearly finished.
Woods breaks up the pin.
The match breaks down.
Kofi catches Perry with a sudden counter.
Woods prevents Luchasaurus from making the save.
One! Two! Three!
Winners: The New Day
New Day celebrate.
Then—
The Young Bucks appear.
The Bucks walk onto the stage.
New Day stare back.
The two teams slowly walk toward each other.
They meet in the aisle.
No words.
Just a tense stare-down.
Officials immediately position themselves between them.
Eventually both teams back away.
But neither looks away.

JAMIE HAYTER IN-RING PROMO
Jamie Hayter comes to the ring with the Women’s World Championship.
She says everyone keeps talking about Toni Storm and Kris Statlander.
She says people have forgotten one important fact:
She’s the champion.
Hayter says she just won the title and has absolutely no intention of losing it.
She says Collision Course isn’t going to be the beginning of her reign.
It’s going to be the night she proves why she deserves it.
Toni Storm interrupts.
Storm says Hayter is adorable when she thinks she’s secure.
Kris Statlander comes out next.
Statlander says both women are talking too much.
Hayter tells them both to come get her.
They do.
The three women begin brawling.
Storm attacks Hayter.
Statlander attacks Storm.
Hayter fires back.
The fight spills around the ring.
Statlander suddenly catches Hayter.
BIG SPINNING ATTACK.
Hayter goes down.
Storm tries attacking Statlander.
Statlander catches her too.
Storm is dropped.
Statlander stands over both women.
She picks up the championship.
She looks at it.
Then drops it directly on Hayter.
Kris Statlander stands tall.

SHANE TAYLOR & THE INFANTRY vs. PAC, DANIEL GARCIA & WHEELER YUTA
The match is physical from the opening bell.
Shane Taylor immediately targets Wheeler Yuta and tries to overwhelm him.
PAC enters and changes the pace completely.
He attacks with speed and vicious kicks.
Daniel Garcia brings the technical offense, repeatedly attacking the legs of Shane Taylor.
The Infantry attempt to isolate Garcia.
Yuta gets the hot tag.
The Death Riders team explodes into the match.
PAC hits a huge dive.
Garcia locks in a submission.
Yuta catches one of The Infantry with a brutal counter.
Taylor breaks it up.
The match becomes chaotic.
Taylor nearly pins Yuta after a massive power move.
PAC makes the save.
The final sequence sees Garcia catch one of The Infantry with a submission while PAC prevents Taylor from interfering.
The referee calls for the bell.
Winners: PAC, Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta
But before the Death Riders can celebrate—
STP ATTACK.
Shane Taylor and The Infantry swarm them.
Then—
THE HURT SYNDICATE ARRIVE.
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin attack the Death Riders.
Moxley, Claudio, PAC, Garcia and Yuta fight back.
The entire ringside area becomes chaos.
Officials rush down.
Moxley and Lashley find each other again.
The two stare each other down as security separates them.

Women’s National Championship Tournament
Athena and Marina Shafir immediately make this one of the most intense matches of the tournament.
There is almost no wasted motion.
Marina goes straight for Athena’s arm.
Athena fights out and begins using her striking.
Marina catches her.
Submission attempt.
Athena escapes.
Athena sends Marina into the corner and unloads with kicks.
Marina responds with a brutal takedown.
The two women exchange submission attempts repeatedly.
Athena nearly gets the victory after a huge top-rope attack.
Marina kicks out.
Athena becomes frustrated.
Marina catches Athena attempting another attack and transitions into a devastating submission.
Athena struggles.
She reaches for the ropes.
Marina drags her back.
Athena reverses.
She catches Marina with a sudden counter.
One! Two! Three!
Winner: Athena
Athena advances in the Women’s National Championship Tournament.
Marina sits in the ring afterward, visibly frustrated.
Athena raises her arm and screams that nobody can stop her.

Jay White stands backstage with the International Championship in the background.
He says David Finlay has something Jay wants.
The International Championship.
Jay says at Redemption, he isn’t coming for a championship opportunity.
He’s coming for the championship itself.
Jay White: “David, you had your time. Now it’s mine.”
He walks away.

BANG BANG GANG / CONGLOMERATION / THE DOGGS
The Bang Bang Gang are backstage together.
Austin Gunn says they’re tired of The Doggs attacking everyone.
Juice Robinson, Gabe Kidd, Drilla Moloney and David Finlay have made themselves a problem.
And at Redemption, The Bang Bang Gang says they’re going to take them out.
Before they can finish—
The Conglomeration walks in.
Mark Briscoe says they’ve got the same problem.
Orange Cassidy says:
“We’re taking them out too.”
The Bang Bang Gang doesn’t like that.
Austin Gunn steps forward.
Mark steps forward.
The two groups begin shoving each other.
Roderick Strong gets involved.
Colten Gunn pushes him.
Security eventually rushes in.
The two groups are separated.
But now there is another potential collision waiting to happen.

BUDDY MATTHEWS vs. MISTICO
MAIN EVENT
The two men meet again after their previous match was stopped by the mysterious masked attackers.
This time, both men are determined to actually finish the fight.
Buddy uses his strength and striking to slow Mistico down.
Mistico counters with speed and incredible aerial attacks.
Buddy catches him several times and repeatedly drives him into the mat.
Mistico survives.
He begins taking Buddy apart with kicks and springboard attacks.
The match goes back and forth.
Buddy nearly wins after catching Mistico in midair.
Mistico kicks out.
Mistico nearly wins after a spectacular dive.
Buddy survives.
The crowd is fully behind both men.
Then—
THE LIGHTS GO OUT.
The arena immediately knows.
The lights come back on.
THE FIVE MASKED MEN ARE STANDING AROUND THE RING.
Mistico and Buddy look at each other.
They nod.
For the first time, they aren’t opponents.
They’re partners.
The masked men enter.
Buddy attacks one.
Mistico attacks another.
They fight together.
Buddy throws one masked man across the ring.
Mistico hits another with a running attack.
The crowd erupts.
For a moment, it looks like Buddy and Mistico might actually beat them.
Then the numbers catch up.
One masked man attacks Buddy from behind.
Another grabs Mistico.
Buddy fights free.
Mistico hits a huge dive.
The masked men regroup.
They swarm both men.
Buddy gets surrounded.
Mistico tries to help.
One masked man catches him.
SPIKE POWERBOMB.
Mistico is driven into the mat.
Buddy attacks.
He takes down two of them.
A third catches him.
PILEDRIVER.
Buddy collapses.
Mistico tries to get back up.
Another masked man grabs him.
PILEDRIVER.
Both men are down.
The masked men stand over them.
Then—
Swerve Strickland’s music hits.
The AEW World Champion comes sprinting down the entrance ramp.
He is carrying a steel pipe.
Swerve storms into the ring.
He swings.
CRACK!
One masked man goes down.
Swerve swings again.
Another masked man drops.
Swerve is finally getting the better of them.
He screams at them:
“YOU WANT ME? COME GET ME!”
Swerve continues swinging the pipe.
The masked men retreat.
Swerve chases one.
He turns around—
LOW BLOW.
Swerve drops.
The masked men surround him.
Swerve tries to fight back.
He can’t.
One masked man grabs him.
Another sets him up.
PILEDRIVER.
Swerve’s body goes limp.
The masked men pull him back up.
They look at each other.
Then—
POWERBOMB.
Swerve is driven into the mat.
The AEW World Championship falls from his waist.
The masked men stand over the champion.
The camera slowly moves toward Swerve.
Buddy Matthews and Mistico are still down.
Swerve is motionless.
The masked men look directly into the camera.
The lights go out.
When they come back—
THEY’RE GONE.
Swerve is still lying in the ring.
The championship is beside him.
The camera closes in on the AEW World Championship.
