OPENING SEGMENT — SWERVE STRICKLAND WANTS A FIGHT
The show opens with the AEW World Champion, Swerve Strickland, walking to the ring without his usual swagger. He has the championship around his waist, but his expression is completely serious. Swerve says he has spent the last week trying to figure out who the five masked men are and, more importantly, what they want. He says he’s heard the rumors, watched the footage and questioned everyone he can think of.
But Swerve says he doesn’t care anymore.
He wants them to come get him.
Swerve tells them they picked the wrong man to play games with. He raises the championship and says if they want AEW’s biggest prize, they can come take it.
The lights suddenly go out.
The arena erupts.
When the lights return, all four masked men are standing around the ring.
Swerve spins around, ready to fight.
He charges toward one.
The lights go out again.
When they return—
They’re gone.
Swerve slowly looks around the arena.
No attack.
No message.
Just silence.
Swerve raises the championship and screams:
“NEXT TIME, DON’T RUN!”

CONGLOMERATION BACKSTAGE
The Conglomeration — Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong — are backstage together.
Mark says they aren’t interested in sitting around waiting for someone to challenge them. They’re wrestlers, and they want to wrestle tonight.
Orange Cassidy casually says:
“Anyone.”
Roderick agrees, saying they don’t care who it is.
As they walk down the hallway, The Bang Bang Gang walks past them.
Ace Austin looks at the group.
Austin Gunn looks at Orange.
Colten Gunn looks at Mark.
Jay White isn’t with them.
Austin smirks.
“Anyone?”
Mark immediately responds:
“Anyone.”
The Bang Bang Gang turns around.
Orange shrugs.
Tony Schiavone announces that the match is official for later tonight.
Match Made: The Conglomeration vs. The Bang Bang Gang & Ace Austin.

DAVID FINLAY (c) vs. JACK PERRY
International Championship
Jack Perry gets his championship opportunity immediately after spending weeks insisting that David Finlay stole his championship from him. Finlay enters with the International Championship and refuses to give Perry the satisfaction of getting under his skin.
The match starts with Perry trying to out-wrestle Finlay. Finlay answers with stiff strikes and repeatedly sends Perry crashing into the turnbuckles. Perry begins targeting Finlay’s knee, slowing down the champion and forcing him to fight from underneath.
Finlay eventually rallies with a brutal series of chops and a big lariat.
Perry survives.
Perry nearly wins after countering Finlay’s finishing attempt, but Finlay kicks out at two.
The crowd begins chanting for Finlay as the champion fights back. Perry goes for one final attack, but Finlay catches him and hits his finishing sequence.
Winner: David Finlay — retains the International Championship.
After the match, Finlay celebrates with the championship.
Then—
JAY WHITE ATTACKS.
White blindsides Finlay and drops him with a devastating attack.
Jay picks up the International Championship and stares at it.
Finlay slowly gets to his feet.
Jay holds the championship inches from Finlay’s face.
Jay White: “You wanted someone to step up? Here I am.”
Jay drops the championship at Finlay’s feet.
Jay White challenges David Finlay to an International Championship Match.

YOUNG BUCKS / NEW DAY VIGNETTES
A split-screen vignette shows The Young Bucks and The New Day preparing for their upcoming Collision Course Street Fight.
Matthew Jackson says next week’s tag matches are nothing more than an opportunity to hurt people before the Street Fight.
Nicholas says The New Day can keep pretending they’re the better team, but the Bucks have spent their entire careers proving that they belong at the top.
The New Day’s vignette is much different.
Kofi says the Bucks have become obsessed with being the smartest guys in the room.
Xavier Woods says they’ve forgotten the most important part of wrestling:
Winning.
Both teams have tag matches next week.
Both teams promise to send a message.
The final shot shows the Bucks watching New Day’s video.
Matthew slowly smiles.

MINA SHIRAKAWA vs. BILLIE STARKZ
Women’s National Championship Tournament
Mina Shirakawa enters with confidence, but Billie Starkz immediately tries to disrupt her rhythm. Billie attacks Mina with quick strikes and uses her youth and aggression to keep Mina moving.
Mina begins slowing the pace down and targets Billie’s arm.
Billie responds with a diving attack and nearly scores the upset.
Mina survives and starts taking control with stiff kicks and clever counters.
Billie gets another huge near fall after a top-rope maneuver, but Mina kicks out at the last possible second.
The final sequence sees Billie attempt to rush Mina into another attack. Mina sidesteps and catches Billie with a sudden counter before immediately transitioning into her finishing combination.
Winner: Mina Shirakawa.
Mina advances in the Women’s National Championship Tournament.

THE CONGLOMERATION vs. THE GUNNS & ACE AUSTIN
The match starts with Orange Cassidy refusing to take the match seriously. Austin Gunn mocks him, which eventually causes Orange to explode into action.
Mark Briscoe brings the wild energy, throwing chops and forearms at both Gunn brothers.
Roderick Strong becomes the powerhouse of the team, repeatedly catching Austin with brutal backbreakers.
The Bang Bang Gang keeps Orange isolated, cutting the ring in half.
Mark eventually gets the hot tag and turns the match into chaos.
Orange hits a series of lazy-looking but devastating kicks before climbing the ropes.
Roderick catches Colten with a backbreaker.
Mark dives onto Austin Gunn.
The Conglomeration appears to have the match won.
Then the lights in the arena briefly flicker.
The referee gets distracted.
The Bang Bang Gang takes advantage.
The match ends with The Conglomeration still fighting when suddenly—
THE DOGGS HIT THE RING.
Juice Robinson, David Finlay, Gabe Kidd and Drilla Moloney swarm everyone with steel chairs.
They destroy all six wrestlers.
Orange gets cracked across the back.
Mark is driven into the corner.
Roderick is repeatedly struck.
Austin Gunn and The Gunns are also caught in the chaos.
Kyle O’Reilly runs down to make the save.
Kyle manages to fight off two attackers before The Doggs overwhelm him.
He is dropped with a chair shot.
The Doggs stand tall over all six men.
Winner: No Contest — match thrown out due to outside interference.

JAMIE HAYTER / TONI STORM / KRIS STATLANDER
Sit-Down Interview
All three women sit down for an uncomfortable interview ahead of their Women’s World Championship Triple Threat at Collision Course.
Jamie Hayter says she doesn’t care who she faces. Toni Storm immediately interrupts and says Hayter is only champion because Toni wasn’t ready to take it back yet.
Kris Statlander says both women are making the same mistake: they’re focused on each other.
Statlander says she has watched them fight, argue and insult each other while she has quietly waited for her opportunity.
Hayter tells Statlander that if she wants the championship, she can come take it.
Storm laughs.
She says the championship is going to look much better around her waist.
The interviewer asks who has the advantage.
Nobody answers.
All three women stare at the championship sitting on the table.
Hayter finally grabs it.
Hayter: “You’ll find out at Collision Course.”

BOBBY LASHLEY & SHELTON BENJAMIN vs. EDDIE KINGSTON & ORTIZ
This is a brutal tag-team fight.
Lashley immediately overwhelms Ortiz with his power while Shelton uses precision and speed to keep Eddie Kingston from getting involved.
Kingston eventually gets the tag and unloads on Shelton.
Eddie and Lashley trade shots in the center of the ring, with Kingston refusing to back down from the much larger powerhouse.
Ortiz hits a huge dive onto Shelton at ringside.
Lashley catches Eddie attempting a running attack and drives him into the mat.
The match becomes a back-and-forth war.
Kingston nearly gets the victory after catching Shelton with a surprise counter, but Lashley breaks up the pin.
Shelton then catches Ortiz with a sudden finishing maneuver while Lashley prevents Kingston from making the save.
Winners: Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin.
Lashley and Shelton don’t celebrate.
They simply stare down the camera.

DEATH RIDERS VIGNETTE
The screen goes black.
A single light reveals Jon Moxley.
He says Final Stand may have been a setback, but the Death Riders aren’t interested in excuses.
Moxley says they’re coming for everything.
Tonight, Claudio Castagnoli is going to prove what that means.
Moxley says anyone who steps up will be destroyed.
Claudio appears beside him.
Moxley looks directly into the camera.
“Tonight, Claudio starts the hunt.”
Claudio cracks his knuckles.
Cut to black.

CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. LEE MORIARTY
Claudio enters looking like a man on a mission.
Moriarty tries to use his technical ability to frustrate Claudio, but Claudio repeatedly overpowers him.
Moriarty targets Claudio’s arm and manages to keep him grounded for several minutes.
Claudio eventually fights back.
He hits a massive uppercut.
Then another.
Then another.
Moriarty tries escaping through the ropes.
Claudio pulls him back.
Claudio lifts Moriarty and delivers a devastating finishing maneuver.
Winner: Claudio Castagnoli.
But Claudio isn’t finished.
He continues attacking Moriarty after the bell.
Shane Taylor Promotions rush to the ring.
Shane Taylor and The Infantry attack Claudio.
The Death Riders immediately respond.
PAC, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir hit the ring.
Suddenly the entire arena erupts into chaos.
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin come down to help Shane Taylor Promotions.
Moxley and Lashley start brawling through the crowd.
Moxley throws Lashley into a wall.
Lashley answers by launching Moxley over a barricade.
Back in the ring, Claudio and Shane Taylor are absolutely destroying each other.
PAC and Shelton Benjamin fight across the ring.
Marina Shafir attacks members of STP.
Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta fight through the arena with the Infantry.
The final image is Claudio and Shane Taylor still swinging at each other while Moxley and Lashley continue fighting deep in the crowd.

MERCEDES MONÉ vs. ALEX WINDSOR
Women’s National Championship Tournament
Mercedes Moné enters expecting another step toward adding another championship to her collection.
Alex Windsor isn’t intimidated.
Mercedes tries to use her experience to control the match, repeatedly slowing Windsor down and taunting her whenever she gets the advantage.
Windsor responds with powerful counters and increasingly aggressive strikes.
Mercedes hits a big sequence and appears to have Windsor finished.
Two count.
Windsor kicks out.
Mercedes becomes frustrated.
She goes for another finishing maneuver.
Windsor counters.
She catches Mercedes completely off guard and hits her with a devastating combination.
Mercedes kicks out at two.
Windsor refuses to panic.
She catches Mercedes with another counter and scores the three-count.
Winner: Alex Windsor
The arena erupts.
Mercedes sits in disbelief.
Alex Windsor advances in the Women’s National Championship Tournament.

MAIN EVENT
BANDIDO vs. BRODY KING
Number One Contender Match for the AEW World Championship
The two best friends enter knowing that their friendship has to be put aside.
There is no hatred between them.
There is respect.
But there can only be one Number One Contender.
The opening minutes are surprisingly respectful. They shake hands before the bell.
Then they fight.
Brody uses his overwhelming power while Bandido relies on speed and agility.
Brody catches Bandido out of the air and launches him across the ring.
Bandido answers with a springboard attack and sends Brody crashing through the ropes.
The first several minutes are a chess match. Brody tries to cut off the ring and force Bandido into close-range exchanges, while Bandido constantly circles, using his speed to attack Brody from different angles.
Bandido fires off a series of kicks to Brody’s legs, trying to take away the big man’s base. Brody responds by catching Bandido during a springboard attempt and planting him with a massive powerslam.
One! Two!
Bandido kicks out.
Brody immediately starts working the ribs.
He drives Bandido into the corner and hits a series of body shots before launching him across the ring. Brody follows with a huge corner splash, but Bandido moves at the last second.
Brody crashes into the turnbuckles.
Bandido sees the opening.
He hits a running dropkick.
Then another.
Then a third that sends Brody through the ropes.
Bandido hits the ropes and launches himself over the top rope with a huge dive.
Bandido wipes out Brody!
The crowd explodes.
Bandido rolls Brody back inside and climbs to the top rope.
He goes for a high-risk attack.
BRODY CATCHES HIM!
Brody powers Bandido up and throws him down with a brutal-looking slam.
Brody covers.
One! Two!
Bandido kicks out.
Brody looks stunned.
He pulls Bandido up by the mask and tells him to fight him.
Bandido slaps Brody across the face.
Brody answers with a massive chop.
Bandido fires back.
Brody chops again.
Bandido responds.
The two start trading increasingly vicious strikes in the center of the ring.
Bandido eventually gains the advantage and hits a rapid combination of kicks before sending Brody into the ropes.
Brody rebounds.
LARIAT!
Bandido gets nearly turned inside out.
Brody covers.
One! Two!
Bandido kicks out again.
Brody starts showing frustration.
He climbs to the second rope and attempts a huge attack, but Bandido rushes up and knocks him off balance.
Bandido climbs.
SUPERPLEX!
Both men crash to the mat.
Neither moves.
The referee begins counting.
One…
Two…
Three…
The crowd starts clapping.
Four…
Brody grabs the ropes.
Five…
Bandido begins moving.
Six…
Both men slowly get to their feet.
Bandido charges.
Brody catches him.
Bandido counters.
The momentum swings back and forth.
Brody hits a brutal lariat.
Bandido somehow stays on his feet.
Bandido answers with a running knee.
Brody staggers.
Bandido hits a springboard maneuver.
One! Two!
Brody kicks out.
Bandido can’t believe it.
He looks toward the top rope.
The crowd rises.
Bandido climbs.
He launches himself.
Brody catches him AGAIN!
Brody drives Bandido down with a devastating power move.
One! Two!
BANDIDO KICKS OUT!
Brody sits up in disbelief.
He looks at Bandido.
Then at the crowd.
He knows he has to go even further.
Brody pulls Bandido up and attempts another massive finishing maneuver.
Bandido slips free.
He lands behind Brody.
Bandido hits a spinning kick.
Brody turns around.
SUPERKICK!
Brody stumbles backward.
Bandido hits the ropes.
RUNNING KNEE!
Brody drops to one knee.
Bandido climbs to the top.
He looks down at his best friend.
Then jumps.
BANDIDO HITS HIS BIGGEST AERIAL ATTACK OF THE MATCH!
Both men crash to the mat.
Bandido crawls toward Brody.
He hooks the leg.
ONE!
TWO!
BRODY KICKS OUT!
The building erupts.
Bandido looks completely stunned.
He pounds the mat.
Brody slowly rolls onto his side.
Bandido gets back to his feet.
Brody uses the ropes to pull himself up.
They stare at each other.
Both men are exhausted.
Brody tells Bandido:
“Finish it.”
Bandido shakes his head.
Brody charges.
Bandido sidesteps.
Brody hits the ropes.
Bandido catches him with a counter.
Brody crashes down.
Bandido immediately capitalizes.
1… 2… 3!
Winner: BANDIDO — NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER
Bandido is exhausted but emotional.
Brody slowly gets to his feet.
The two men embrace.
Brody raises Bandido’s arm.
Then—
THE LIGHTS GO OUT.
The crowd immediately realizes what’s happening.
Now there is FIVE masked men who appear.
They surround the ring.
Brody and Bandido prepare to fight.
The masked men swarm them.
This time, the attack is slower, more calculated. They don’t rush—they isolate.
Brody fights like an animal.
He takes down two men.
A third attacks him from behind.
Bandido tries to help.
Another masked man catches Bandido.
Brody is overwhelmed.
The masked men brutally destroy him.
One of them grabs Brody and drives him into the exposed turnbuckle.
Another attacks his knee.
Brody collapses.
The masked men then turn their attention to Bandido.
Bandido tries desperately to fight them off.
He gets one of them down.
Then another masked man attacks.
They drag Bandido toward the entrance ramp.
Officials run toward the stage.
They’re too late.
The masked men expose the concrete beneath the ramp.
Bandido is lifted.
The arena is screaming.
POWERBOMB.
Bandido is driven approximately ten feet down onto the exposed concrete.
The crowd goes silent.
The masked men stand over him.

FINAL SCENE
Brody King is still in the ring.
Blood is running down his face.
The masked men return to him.
They handcuff Brody.
Brody tries to fight them.
One masked man grabs a chair.
Another sets up a table.
Brody is slammed through the table.
He collapses.
The masked men leave him handcuffed in the wreckage.
Medical personnel rush toward Bandido.
Bandido is placed onto a gurney.
His eyes are open, but he’s clearly dazed.
The camera follows the gurney backstage.
Then—
CUT TO SWERVE STRICKLAND’S LOCKER ROOM.
The door is open.
The AEW World Champion is lying unconscious on the floor.
His championship is lying several feet away.
Swerve has been knocked out.
There is no sign of the masked men.
The camera slowly zooms in on Swerve.
Then on the championship.
Then—
BLACK SCREEN.
