Match Type: Pure Rules Match
Story: KO feels disrespected by “wrestling purists,” and wants to show he can out-wrestle anyone. ZSJ mocks Owens’ cardio and “brawler” style.
Match Highlights:
- ZSJ tortures KO with precision joint manipulation.
- KO surprises with chain wrestling of his own.
- A brutal headbutt turns the tide, followed by a Cannonball.
- ZSJ dodges a Pop-Up Powerbomb into a guillotine, but KO rolls through into a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER!
Winner: Zack Sabre Jr. via European Clutch after countering the Stunner!
Post-Match: ZSJ offers a smirk and a sarcastic “not bad” before exiting. Owens looks pissed and throws a chair at the announce table.

Story: No story. Just beef. Big meaty men slappin’ meat.
Highlights:
- They collide like kaiju. Double clothesline standoff.
- Luchasaurus hits a standing moonsault!
- Wardlow kicks out at 1 and pops up, Batista Bomb attempt!
- Lucha counters into a chokeslam through the timekeeper’s table.
- Back in, Wardlow dodges a tail whip kick and nails the Powerbomb Symphony.
Winner: Luchasaurus after Jack Perry runs down, hits Wardlow with the ring bell behind the ref’s back, and Luchasaurus lands the Extinction Lariat.
Post-Match: Jack Perry raises Lucha’s arm, smiling like a devil. Commentary is stunned.

Hiromu Takahashi (c) vs Mustafa Ali
Story: Ali wants to elevate the Cruiser division. Hiromu wants to prove he’s the soul of it.
Match:
- Fast, frantic pace. Spanish Fly off the apron. Reverse ‘rana. Double stomp into a rolling neckbreaker.
- Hiromu goes for Time Bomb II. Ali flips into a DDT!
- 450 Splash connects!
Winner & NEW Cruiserweight Champion: Mustafa Ali!
Finish: Dominik Mysterio slides in and hits Hiromu with brass knucks behind the ref’s back, setting up Ali’s 450.
Post-Match: Dom raises Ali’s hand. Ali hesitates… then pulls away. Dom laughs and points to his waist.
4️⃣ Adam Cole (c) vs Kazuchika Okada – Intercontinental Title
Match: Hard-hitting, methodical. Lots of counters. Red-hot crowd.
- Rainmaker attempt early, but Cole hits the Panama Sunrise.
- Okada kicks out at 2.9 and fires up.
- Tombstone from Okada! Sets up another Rainmaker—
- BAM! Steel chair shot to Okada’s back.
Finn Balor storms the ring and destroys BOTH men with chairs.
He rips off his Bullet Club shirt, spits on it, and tosses it onto Cole’s body. “Bullet Club is DEAD.”
Result: No contest.
Post-Match: Balor exits alone, leaving carnage. Okada’s stable (Mysterio, Knight, etc.) checks on him. The crowd chants: “F** the Club!”*

#1 Contender – World Title
Match:
- Cody and AJ renew old NJPW chemistry.
- Orton hits a double draping DDT on Knight and AJ.
- AJ with the Phenomenal Forearm to Knight — Cody tosses AJ out!
- Cody goes for Cross Rhodes — RKO!
- Orton slithers for the pin, but Knight tosses him out, hits BFT on AJ, and STEALS THE WIN!

Match:
- CM Punk enters to a massive pop, the crowd rallying behind him as the beloved champion.
- Swerve and Drew team up immediately, working together to isolate Punk and cut him off.
- Swerve mocks Punk’s movements, taunting him before slapping him across the face.
- McIntyre, despite his history as a babyface, starts to show signs of heel tactics, including a low blow behind the ref’s back to Punk, and later, taunting the crowd with his “Big Bad” act.
- Punk fights back, hitting Springboard Clotheslines on both men and even a GTS on McIntyre—but Swerve breaks up the pin!
- Chaos erupts when Hurt Syndicate (Lashley, Benjamin, Alexander, & Ali) come rushing to ringside, helping Swerve by distracting the ref and interfering.
- House of Black storms the ring, with Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews fighting off the Hurt Syndicate.
- Kevin Owens and ELP appear next, running down to help Drew McIntyre, but after a brief moment of solidarity, they flip him off and hit him with a Stunner and Phenomenal Forearm, walking off as the crowd erupts!
- Punk capitalizes and hits a second GTS on Swerve before pinning him.
