Hello, my name is KPG and I’ve been writing articles for Game Breakers Sports for over a year. I feel like I haven’t been open about myself, so I’m going to tell you 22 things about myself.
5 reasons why I went into journalism/media
- My love of sports and interviewing people
I have a deep passion for sports and journalism, particularly covering the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and The Texas Longhorns.
I’ve had the opportunity to interview talented individuals like Current AEW/ROH Shane Taylor, Current MLW superstar Brett Ryan Gosling, and Independent wrestler Tyree Taylor, gaining insight into their experiences and perspectives as wrestlers. Through these conversations, you’ve learned from different perspectives, making me a compelling journalist. Your dedication to journalism shines through in every interview, article, and conversation, inspiring others to do the same
- Not a lot of people in my area are in my field.
Growing up in a small town in Texas, I knew intimately the suffocating grip of limited opportunities. The resources weren’t really there, making it difficult for young people like me to envision a future beyond the familiar streets of our hometown. Every day felt like a repetition of the same routine, with the same faces, the same conversations, and the same unfulfilled dreams. But I refused to be held captive by the constraints of my environment. I yearned for more – more knowledge, more experiences, more connections, and more possibilities. With every fiber of my being, I was determined to break free from the shackles of my upbringing and forge a new path. I devoured every book, sought out every mentor, and seized every chance to learn and grow. And when the road ahead seems uncertain, I drew upon a deep well of resilience and determination to push forward. Today, I stand as a testament to the transformative power of perseverance and the boundless potential that lies within each of us. I am living proof that no matter where you come from or what limitations you face, you have the capacity to create your own opportunities, shatter the glass ceiling, and unleash your full potential upon the world.
- I love having conversations with different people from different backgrounds
I thrive on the energy of human connection, and for me, there’s no greater joy than engaging in a meaningful conversation with someone. As a natural extrovert, I’m drawn to the dynamic exchange of ideas, the spark of shared insights, and the warmth of building rapport with others. I love how conversations can meander from topic to topic, revealing hidden interests and unexpected common ground. The art of listening actively, asking thoughtful questions, and responding with empathy and humor is a passion of mine. I find myself fully alive in the midst of a lively discussion, feeding off the collective enthusiasm and creativity. Whether it’s a chance encounter or a deep dive with a close friend, conversation is my oxygen – it invigorates me, inspires me, and reminds me of the beauty of human connection.
- Used to be an introvert
Here’s an expanded version of the paragraph:
I vividly remember the days when I was hesitant to speak up, trapped in my own shell of self-doubt and uncertainty. My voice was muffled, my thoughts jumbled, and my potential stifled. But with time, patience, and perseverance, I slowly began to emerge from the shadows of my own making. I started to embrace my uniqueness, celebrate my strengths, and confront my weaknesses. And as I did, I discovered a sense of purpose and belonging that I never thought possible. I found my voice, my passion, and my drive. I realized that I’m exceptionally good at connecting with others, fostering meaningful conversations, and bringing people together. My natural charisma, empathy, and creativity began to shine through, and I started to make a real impact on those around me. Now, it’s all about execution – taking my skills to the next level, pushing past fear and uncertainty, and embracing challenges with confidence and enthusiasm. I’m ready to put my talents into action, make a lasting impact, and show the world what I’m truly capable of. I’m no longer held back by the constraints of my own self-doubt; I’m unstoppable, and I know that the best is yet to come.
- Working towards my goal of my childhood
Here’s a paragraph about your career aspirations:
My ultimate career goal is to combine my passions for sports and entertainment by working for two of the world’s most iconic organizations: the National Football League (NFL) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). I dream of being part of the team that brings the excitement of football and wrestling to millions of fans worldwide. Although I may be a little behind schedule, I’m working tirelessly to make this vision a reality. I’m taking deliberate steps to build my skills, network, and experience, and I’m confident that my dedication and perseverance will pay off. Whether it’s behind the scenes, in front of the camera, or somewhere in between, I’m determined to contribute my talents and enthusiasm to the NFL and WWE, and I won’t let anything stand in the way of achieving my dream. The journey may be long, but I’m getting closer every day, and I can almost hear the roar of the crowd cheering me on.

A reminder that God gives us strength to fight anxiety, and that this strength is everlasting
- Nehemiah 8:10
Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
- Romans 5:8
But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
- Isaiah 26:3-4
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
5 things that I learned over the past year
- Patience
Patience is the unsung hero of virtues, a quiet yet powerful force that can transform our lives in profound ways. It’s the ability to slow down, breathe deeply, and trust that everything will unfold in its own perfect time. Patience is about embracing the journey, with all its twists and turns, rather than fixating on the destination. It’s about understanding that growth, progress, and success are often the result of steady effort, persistence, and dedication, rather than sudden bursts of speed or brilliance. By cultivating patience, we can learn to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease, wisdom, and grace, and discover that the wait is often worth it – for it’s in the stillness, the quiet, and the pause that we can find true clarity, insight, and strength.
- Some things ain’t meant to be repaired.
Some things in life are like shattered glass or torn fabric – no matter how hard we try to mend them, they can never be made whole again. This is a hard truth to accept, but sometimes, things are too broken, too damaged, or too far gone to be repaired. It’s not about giving up or lacking effort, but about recognizing when something has reached its natural end. Trying to force a fix can lead to more harm, like trying to glue together a mirror that’s been shattered into a hundred pieces – it may hold together for a moment, but it will never reflect the beauty it once did. Sometimes, the wisest thing to do is to acknowledge that some things ain’t meant to be repaired, and instead, focus on moving forward, learning from the experience, and creating something new and beautiful from the shards of what’s left behind.
- The journey is rough by itself, but it’s supposed to be.
The journey of life is inherently rugged, filled with twists and turns that test our resolve, challenge our beliefs, and push us to our limits. And yet, it’s in these moments of struggle that we discover our greatest strengths, our most profound growth, and our most meaningful transformations. The journey is rough by itself, but it’s supposed to be – for it’s in the darkness that we find the stars, in the storms that we discover our anchors, and in the wilderness that we uncover our inner compass. Embracing the roughness of the journey allows us to develop the resilience, wisdom, and character that enables us to navigate life’s complexities with courage, hope, and determination. So, let the journey be rough – for it’s in its rugged beauty that we find our own.
- Not gonna accomplish anything sitting around. Gotta make little steps.
The truth is, that progress often begins with small, seemingly insignificant steps. It’s easy to get caught up in the idea that we need to make giant leaps toward our goals, but the reality is that it’s the little steps, taken consistently and with purpose, that ultimately lead to lasting change. Sitting around waiting for the perfect moment or until we feel fully ready is a recipe for stagnation. By taking small steps, we build momentum, develop confidence, and create a sense of accomplishment that propels us forward. Whether it’s making a phone call, writing a single paragraph, or taking a short walk, each tiny step counts and brings us closer to our dreams. So, let’s not wait for the perfect moment – let’s make little steps, and let the journey begin.
- Everyone and everything has a purpose. No matter whether bad or good.
In the grand tapestry of life, every thread, no matter how seemingly insignificant or even discordant, plays a vital role in the larger narrative. Every person, every experience, and every circumstance has a purpose, whether we can discern it or not. The good times and the bad, the triumphs and the struggles, all serve to shape us, teach us, and guide us towards our highest potential. Even the most challenging and painful experiences can be transformative, leading us to growth, wisdom, and compassion. And the people we encounter, whether they bring joy or strife, are all part of our journey, helping to mold us into the individuals we are meant to be. By embracing this truth, we can find meaning and value in every aspect of our lives, and trust that everything is unfolding exactly as it should.
2 Bonus Things!
I like watching sports, but I prefer the live experience over watching at home.
This next year I’m about to make it count. So get with me while you can, because only the place is up.
