IRON GRIP PRO WRESTLING – SHOW 45: “REIGN OF IRON”

1. Will Ospreay vs Drew McIntyre

Will Ospreay enters with his usual swagger, but there’s a seriousness to him tonight—he knows that a single mistake against a man the size of Drew McIntyre could end the match instantly. Drew walks in with a storm behind his eyes, hyped by the crowd and ready to claim a statement victory after weeks of being overlooked. The bell rings and Ospreay immediately tests the distance, firing low kicks at Drew’s legs. Drew eats the shots and bulldozes him into the corner, unleashing hammering blows to the chest that echo around the arena.

Ospreay flips out of a back suplex attempt and hits a handspring enzuigiri, staggering Drew long enough to land a springboard forearm. Drew answers moments later by catching Ospreay mid-air during an OsCutter attempt and smashing him with a spine-shattering sit-down powerbomb. The near-fall rattles Ospreay’s confidence, but he rallies with a flurry of kicks and a Hidden Blade attempt. Drew ducks and blasts him with a Glasgow Kiss that flips Ospreay inside out.

The pace quickens, each man countering the other’s biggest weapons. Drew hoists Ospreay for a Claymore setup, but Ospreay collapses theatrically, luring Drew into a roll-up that nearly steals it. Drew fires up and charges for the Claymore—but Ospreay leaps over him, rebounds off the ropes, and finally lands the Hidden Blade flush across Drew’s jaw. Ospreay barely gets him up for the Stormbreaker, screaming with effort as he lifts the larger man and plants him in the center of the ring.

Winner: Will Ospreay

2. KENTA vs Hangman Page

The tension between KENTA and Hangman Page has felt like a lit fuse for weeks, and tonight it detonates. Hangman comes out fiery, launching himself into KENTA before the bell even settles, landing wild rights and a running lariat that sends KENTA rolling to the apron. KENTA, unfazed, smirks and invites more. He plays the veteran game perfectly—baiting Hangman into rushed offense, countering with stiff kicks to the ribs and thighs.

KENTA slows the pace to his liking, dropping Hangman with a swinging DDT and wrenching him in a crossface while talking trash to the crowd. Page refuses to quit, powering to the ropes and striking back with a sudden fallaway slam followed by a moonsault that nearly gets the three. But KENTA’s resilience is legendary, and he answers with brutal precision strikes—especially a running boot in the corner that sends Hangman collapsing to one knee.

The match spirals into chaos when Hangman goes for the Buckshot Lariat. KENTA ducks, drilling him with a Busaiku Knee for a razor-close near-fall. Frustrated but relentless, KENTA tears off the turnbuckle pad. The referee tries to intervene, giving Hangman a chance to recover. Page swings wildly, but KENTA sidesteps, shoves him head-first into the exposed buckle, and rolls him up with both legs hooked deep.

Winner: KENTA

3. Swerve Strickland vs LA Knight

The crowd is split—half chanting “Whose house? Swerve’s house!” while the other half roars “L! A! Knight!” Swerve uses speed and swagger to control the early moments, ducking LA Knight’s lock-ups and peppering him with sharp elbows. Knight responds with full power, flooring Swerve with a running shoulder and dropping him into the mat with a crisp neckbreaker.

Swerve’s agility becomes the story, though—he floats over Knight’s attacks, hitting a rolling thunder flatliner and a house-clearing diving stomp to the outside. Knight smartly targets Swerve’s midsection to slow him down, slamming him repeatedly into the barricade before hitting a top-rope superplex that nearly collapses the ring.

The final stretch is a wild exchange of counters. Swerve dodges the BFT attempt and nails a House Call kick. Knight survives, fires up, and hits a sudden powerslam into an elbow drop that sends the crowd roaring. Knight signals for another BFT, but Swerve catches him with a surprise cradle, transitions into a jackknife pin, and traps Knight’s arms to prevent the kick-out.

Winner: Swerve Strickland

4. Cody Rhodes vs Wardlow

Cody approaches the match with caution, fully aware that Wardlow’s strength could change the tone of the match instantly. Wardlow starts by tossing Cody across the ring twice, roaring as the crowd gasps at his power. Cody answers by using speed and strategy—slipping under Wardlow’s grasp and attacking the legs with dropkicks and dragon screws.

Wardlow eventually catches Cody on a springboard attempt and slams him brutally with a running powerslam for a two-count. Cody rallies with a Disaster Kick, then a Cody Cutter that brings the fans to their feet. When he loads up for Cross Rhodes, Wardlow blocks it, hoists Cody onto his shoulders, and lands a thunderous F-10.

But Cody’s heart refuses to quit. He kicks out, fires up, hits another Disaster Kick, then springboards again—this time landing a second Cody Cutter. With the crowd chanting his name, Cody hooks Wardlow, plants him with Cross Rhodes, rolls through, hits a second, and finally a third.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

5. Randy Orton vs AJ Styles

This is a dream bout between veterans who know each other’s rhythms almost too well. Orton stalks early, keeping the match grounded with headlocks and limb control, trying to soften AJ for the inevitable RKO. AJ, ever the technician, responds with calf kicks and quick bursts of speed, hitting a sliding forearm and then a springboard 450 attempt—missed, allowing Orton to pounce.

They fight a slow, methodical battle that becomes a chess match of counters. Orton hits a snap powerslam, AJ answers with a Pele Kick. Orton tries the hanging DDT, AJ counters into a Brainbuster. The finishing stretch becomes a blur as AJ goes for the Phenomenal Forearm—but Orton catches him mid-air. Instead of an RKO, AJ rolls through, flips Orton into the Calf Crusher, and nearly taps him.

Orton barely escapes. He goes for another RKO attempt, but AJ suddenly hits the Styles Clash from out of nowhere.

Winner: AJ Styles

6. CM Punk vs Malakai Black

CM Punk and Malakai Black enter with contrasting energies—Punk fiery and outspoken, Black cold and unreadable. Their opening exchange is slow, almost ceremonial, with each man testing the other’s patience. Punk lands the first big shot with a running knee in the corner, but Malakai answers with a spinning back elbow that drops Punk instantly.

Black dominates with precision strikes, attacking Punk’s legs and ribs to cut off his mobility. Punk fires back with classic offense—snap suplexes, roundhouse kicks, and finally a big diving elbow drop that nearly ends it. But Malakai’s calm never breaks. He avoids the GTS, spins, and nearly decapitates Punk with the Black Mass—Punk collapses against the ropes instead of flat on the mat, saving him.

Punk rallies with desperation, hitting a high kick followed by a roundhouse that stuns Malakai. He hoists Black for the GTS again, but Malakai slips out and traps Punk in a triangle choke. Punk nearly fades but manages to twist his body and stack Malakai for a three-count.

Winner: CM Punk

7. Finn Balor (c) vs Adam Cole – Intercontinental Title

Balor and Cole pick up instantly where their long rivalry left off. Cole targets Balor’s neck, Balor targets Cole’s ribs. The match is a perfect balance of speed, psychology, and vicious precision. Balor hits a slingblade, Cole responds with a superkick. Balor goes for 1916 early, Cole slips out and hits a lightning-fast Backstabber.

The match escalates with rapid-fire counters. Balor stomps Cole’s back repeatedly, setting up for Coup de Grâce, but Cole rolls away, popping up for the Last Shot. Balor dodges and responds with a shotgun dropkick. Both men are exhausted and the crowd stands.

Balor climbs for Coup de Grâce again, and connects.

1-2-3!

Winner & STILL Intercontinental Champion: Finn Balor

8. Damian Priest & Karrion Kross (c) vs Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly – Tag Titles

Strong and O’Reilly bring unmatched chemistry, but Priest and Kross bring unstoppable brutality. The champions bully Roddy early, isolating him and punishing him with clubbing blows and tandem slams. Kyle eventually gets the tag and unloads lightning-fast strikes on Kross, chopping him down with kicks until the big man finally falls to one knee.

Priest re-enters and the match erupts into chaos. Strong hits a Sick Kick, O’Reilly follows with an armbar attempt, and it looks like the challengers may steal it. But Priest breaks the hold with a diving stomp, Kross destroys Kyle with a Doomsday Saito, and Priest hits South of Heaven on Strong.

Winners & STILL Tag Team Champions: Priest & Kross

9. Hiromu Takahashi (c) vs Santos Escobar vs Dominik Mysterio – Cruiserweight Title

The Cruiserweight Title match is a frenzy from the opening bell. Dominik tries to play smart early, staying outside while Hiromu and Santos tear into each other with blistering speed. Once the timing feels right, Dom slides in to steal pins, enraging both opponents. Hiromu hits a wild sunset bomb to the outside on Santos, only for Dom to moonsault onto both men immediately after.

Escobar’s technical brilliance shines when he traps Hiromu in a Romero special while kicking Dom away with his free leg. Dom answers moments later with a sudden 619 to both men, nearly stealing the victory with a frog splash on Santos.

The finish comes when Hiromu superkicks Dom, knocks Santos silly with a lariat, and hits Time Bomb II.

Winner & STILL Cruiserweight Champion: Hiromu Takahashi

10. Young Bucks & Ricochet (c) vs Andrade, Rush, & Dragon Lee vs Bronson Reed, Kyle Fletcher, & Buddy Matthews – Trios Titles

The champions enter confident but cautious—they know they’re facing two teams with frightening synergy. The AEW/Lucha trio of Andrade, Rush, and Dragon Lee bring breakneck pacing, overwhelming Ricochet early with triple-team dives and rush-style sequences. The Bucks answer with tandem superkicks and an early Meltzer Driver attempt, but Dragon Lee interrupts mid-air with a dropkick that sends everyone crashing.

The real danger, however, arrives when the monstrous Bronson Reed enters. Reed annihilates everything: stereo splashes, double Samoan drops, and a clothesline that flips Matt Jackson inside out. Fletcher and Buddy complement the destruction with precision—Buddy unloading knee strikes, Fletcher hitting a seated powerbomb on Ricochet.

The finish becomes a pile of bodies as the Bucks try a triple superkick on Reed… which he eats. Reed crushes all three champions in the corner, hits a Tsunami on Nick Jackson, and Fletcher and Buddy wipe out the other teams with dives.

Winners & NEW Trios Champions: Bronson Reed, Kyle Fletcher & Buddy Matthews

11. Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, & DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) – Exhibition 8-Man Tag

This match is pure fan-service chaos. Jungle Boy plays underdog early, getting tossed around by the opposing team (the opponents weren’t listed—so we treat this as a showcase match). Luchasaurus eventually tags in and clears the ring, chokeslamming two opponents simultaneously. DIY enter next, hitting their classic tandem offense—superkicks, running knees, and stereo suicide dives.

The match keeps a fast pace with everyone hitting signatures. Jungle Boy nails a top-rope rana, Ciampa delivers Willow’s Bell, Gargano hits One Final Beat, and Luchasaurus demolishes the last standing opponent with a spinning lariat.

Winners: Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus & DIY

**MAIN EVENT — **

Brody King (c) vs Kazuchika Okada – World Title

The atmosphere shifts the moment Okada’s coin drop hits. The arena erupts into a thunder of cheers. A legend has arrived, and he’s hunting the most dangerous champion in the company. Brody King enters next like a walking guillotine—face painted, chains dragging, eyes locked on Okada with murderous intensity. The visual contrast is striking: Okada, the cool and regal Rainmaker, and Brody King, the violent monster who has dominated the division.

The bell rings and Okada approaches cautiously. Brody charges forward instantly, forcing Okada into the corner with raw power. He unloads with heavy body shots and a crushing chop that echoes like a gunshot. Okada grimaces but refuses to fall. Brody lifts him for an early Gonzo Bomb attempt, but Okada slips out and hits a dropkick to the knee, stunning the giant momentarily.

Okada begins his strategy—attack the legs, weaken the foundation. He hits repeated basement dropkicks, twists Brody into a kneebar, and forces the champion to scramble for ropes. Brody, furious, rolls outside. Okada follows—big mistake. Brody grabs him mid-stride and slams him spine-first into the barricade, then swings him like a baseball bat into the steel steps. The champion roars, grabs Okada by the hair, and powerbombs him on the apron.

Back in the ring, Brody dominates with smothering offense. A senton. A half-nelson chokeslam. A lariat that nearly breaks Okada in half. Each near-fall pushes the crowd deeper into suspense. But Okada thrives in deep water. He survives, sits up slowly, the crowd chanting “O-KA-DA! O-KA-DA!” Brody swings for another lariat—but Okada counters with a perfect dropkick that sends the champion tumbling.

Momentum shifts violently. Okada hits a DDT, a flapjack, then the signature top-rope elbow drop. He spreads his arms and calls for the Rainmaker—but Brody charges through it like a bull, smashing Okada with a diving crossbody. He drags Okada up, screaming, and hits a brutal piledriver.

One… two… Okada kicks out.

Brody can’t believe it. He drags Okada up for the Gonzo Bomb again—but Okada slips out, spins him, and nails a huge Rainmaker. Brody doesn’t fall. He staggers. Okada hits a second Rainmaker. Brody drops to a knee. Okada screams, pulls him in, and hits a third.

Still, Brody rises—barely.

Okada tries for one final Rainmaker. Brody counters, lifting Okada with desperate fury… but his knee buckles from earlier damage. Okada rolls him through into a cradle—one… two… BRODY KICKS OUT.

Okada rises immediately, seizes the moment, spins Brody around one last time, but Brody gets Okada up for the Gonzo Bomb again and connects!

One… two… three.

Winner: Brody King

Dark Reign comes out to celebrate with Brody to end the show.
