Iron Grip Pro Wrestling – Full Metal Reckoning (Show 27)

Iron Grip Pro Wrestling: Show 27 – “Full Metal Reckoning”

Location: United Center – Chicago, IL
Theme Song: “Vengeance” by Trivium

Opening Segment: “The Reckoning Begins”

The show opens hot with Hangman Page, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, and El Phantasmo (ELP) already in the ring. The energy is volatile. Each man is visibly enraged — their gold is gone, and the pride of their faction is damaged. Hangman paces, barking into the mic, “We were the heart of Iron Grip! And now we’re gutted!”

Kevin Owens snarls, “We don’t want to talk. We want a fight.”

Suddenly — “Adam Cole BAY-BAY!” hits. Cole saunters out in street clothes, mockingly clapping for them. “You want a fight? Pick one of us. Hell, pick me.”

Damian Priest joins him: “Let’s make tonight unforgettable. I want war.”

Then — “Who’s House? SWERVE’S HOUSE!”
Swerve Strickland walks in with malicious coolness. “I came here to carve legacies — and tonight, I carve yours.”

Before another word, “Voices” blasts through the arena. Randy Orton slides into the ring like a predator in the jungle, and RKO’s Drew McIntyre out of nowhere. The crowd explodes!

Wardlow, Sammy Guevara, and Jack Perry rush out to defend their brothers. Chaos erupts.

Finn Balor, Bronson Reed, and Kyle Fletcher storm down — FULL SCALE BRAWL! Security struggles to break it up. Referees, agents — all try to regain order as the camera cuts to black and the commentators scream, “THIS SHOW IS ALREADY ON FIRE!”

Match 1: Hangman Page vs. Finn Balor

Hard-hitting, personal, and defiant. Balor plays the cerebral assassin, targeting Hangman’s ribs. Hangman bleeds from the mouth after a nasty Coup De Grâce to the midsection, but he rallies with brutal cowboy fire. A buckshot lariat attempt is dodged — shotgun dropkick, missed! Hangman rebounds off the ropes…

Buckshot Lariat lands! 1-2-3.

Winner: Hangman Page

Match 2: Kevin Owens & ELP vs. Bronson Reed & Kyle Fletcher

A clash of speed and brutality. Owens goes wild with stiff offense on Reed, while Fletcher dazzles with slick counter-wrestling. ELP hits a poison rana, but is flattened by a brutal splash from Reed. KO stuns Reed with a pop-up powerbomb, then a Stunner!

ELP finishes Fletcher with CR2 for the win.

Winners: Kevin Owens & El Phantasmo

Match 3: Bobby Lashley vs. Karrion Kross – Submission Match

A war of attrition. Lashley uses his MMA pedigree and power to punish Kross. Kross keeps targeting Lashley’s arm to weaken the Hurt Lock. In the end, Lashley locks in the Hurt Lock, but Kross reverses into the Kross Jacket!

Lashley powers out, hoists Kross, and transitions into a ground-based Hurt Lock again — and this time, Kross TAPS.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Match 4: Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly vs. Motor City Machine Guns vs. War Raiders

Best of 5 Series – Match 1 (War Raiders up 1-0-0)

This was a spotfest meets stiff-fest. Speed vs chaos vs grappling. MCMG are innovators — stereo dives, rolling kicks. Undisputed Kingdom work submissions and strikes like a machine. War Raiders wreak havoc with sheer mass.

A miscommunication from MCMG allows Strong to hit End of Heartache on Shelley, and O’Reilly taps out Sabin with a heel hook.

Winners: Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly (Series now 1-1-0)

Match 5: Malakai Black vs. LA Knight

Psychological warfare. Knight mocks Malakai’s stoic presence, but gets punished for it with brutal knee strikes and eerie calm. Knight mounts a comeback with hard brawling and even hits a BFT, but Malakai rolls to the ropes.

Malakai dodges a second BFT, lands a spinning heel kick (Black Mass) out of nowhere!

Winner: Malakai Black

Match 6: Wardlow, Sammy Guevara, & Jack Perry (c) vs. Swerve, Damian Priest, & Adam Cole – Trios Titles

This one is wild. Fast, furious, chaotic. Early teamwork from Cole, Swerve, and Priest nearly overwhelms the champs. Priest is the heavy, Swerve is slick, and Cole is the general. Guevara hits a 630 on Priest, Jack Perry hits a Canadian Destroyer on Cole.

Mid-match: Priest and Cole start arguing — ego, strategy — it breaks down. Priest shoves Cole. Cole slaps Priest. Superkick from Cole to Priest!

Wardlow powerbombs Priest out of his boots. Sammy tags in, hits a GTH on Swerve. Wardlow finishes with Powerbomb Symphony on Swerve.

Winners: Wardlow, Sammy Guevara & Jack Perry – Retain Trios Titles

Match 7: Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre

This is not a wrestling match — it’s a fight. Drew storms Orton before the bell, pure rage. Orton slows the pace, methodically attacking Drew’s shoulder. Drew hits a Future Shock DDT, but Orton kicks out.

Orton counters the Claymore with a mid-air RKO, but Drew kicks out!

Second RKO — blocked — Drew lifts him and hits a Claymore clean!

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Brody murders Ciampa with a Gonzo Bomb, Buddy hits a curb stomp on Gargano.

Winners: Brody King & Buddy Matthews – Retain Tag Titles

Match 9: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Ricochet – Intercontinental Title

A 25-minute clinic. Ricochet pulls out everything — 630, phoenix splash, reverse rana, and even Okada’s own dropkick! Okada plays the long game — neck targeting, big lariats, and mind games.

Ricochet goes for a springboard — caught in mid-air with a Rainmaker!

Winner: Kazuchika Okada – Retains Intercontinental Title

Match 10: CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes – Strap Match

Chicago is electric. The crowd is split, the heat is nuclear.

Cody whips Punk early — leather cracks skin. Punk plays dirty, choking Cody with the strap, gouging his eyes. They both bleed.

Cody hits a Disaster Kick, tries to touch all 4 corners — Punk pulls him back at 3! GTS — blocked! Cross Rhodes — reversed — Punk hits a Pepsi Plunge off the turnbuckle.

Punk touches 1… 2… 3… Cody pulls him back! Cody hits TWO Cross Rhodes! Goes for the fourth corner —

Low blow from Punk with the strap!
GTS!
Punk crawls… touches the fourth.

Winner: CM Punk

Main Event: Will Ospreay (c) vs. AJ Styles – World Title

Epic. 30 minutes. A masterpiece. Mutual respect, then violence. AJ targets Ospreay’s neck. Ospreay uses insane athleticism — Oscutter off the guardrail, Hidden Blade to the back of AJ’s head.

AJ hits a Styles Clash on the apron. He goes for a second — countered — Ospreay flips out!

Oscutter. Kickout.

Storm Breaker. Kickout.

AJ hits a springboard 450 — Ospreay kicks out!

AJ signals for the Phenomenal Forearm — Ospreay hits a Hidden Blade mid-air!

One more Storm Breaker.

As Ospreay celebrates, the lights go out. A strange sigil appears on the screen — music builds — Zack Sabre Jr. appears on the ramp.

He points to the World Title.

Fade to black.
