The bell rings and immediately, the ring explodes into chaos. Bailey lands a blistering series of kicks, but Knight absorbs them, swinging wildly with steel chairs. Bailey’s quickness lets him cartwheel into a knee drop onto a pile of broken chairs.
The fight spills outside—Knight sends Bailey crashing through a barbed-wire board off the stage, blood trickling from Bailey’s forehead. Back inside, Knight scales the turnbuckle and launches a sky-high Bomb through a tacked-up table.

Absolutely — here’s a full backstage segment involving Randy Orton and AJ Styles being attacked separately by Dark Reign, written in the tone and style of IGPW Show 39. This can slot in mid-show or post-match depending on your booking.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT – “Divide & Break”
Segment 1: Randy Orton’s Attack
[Backstage – Earlier Tonight]
Randy Orton is seen walking alone backstage, fresh off a hard-fought loss. He’s sweaty, breathing heavily, but composed. A producer nods to him as he turns a corner near the loading bay.
Suddenly—
BAM!
Karrion Kross blindsides Orton with a running forearm, slamming him into a stack of crates.
Kross (growling): “Legacy means nothing in the dark…”
Damian Priest emerges from the shadows, smashing a steel pipe across Orton’s back. Orton crumples to the ground.
Brody King storms in last, lifting Orton and chokeslamming him through a stack of equipment boxes.
Priest (coldly):
“You said you were the Apex Predator. But this… this is OUR food chain now.”
They stand over Orton’s broken body as EMTs rush in off-screen. Priest glares into the camera.
Priest: “Divide them. Break them. One by one.”
[Later in the Night – Medical Area]
AJ Styles is shown backstage talking to trainers — his ribs taped up after a match earlier in the show. He’s arguing about being cleared to compete at Hell in a Cell: Aftermath.
AJ: “I don’t care what the scans say. You’re not benching me over bruised ribs.”
Suddenly the lights flicker… then go out.
CRASH!
Glass shatters. The camera cuts to black briefly.
When the lights come back on, Finn Balor is standing behind AJ — steel chair in hand.
He smashes it across AJ’s ribs.
AJ screams out in pain as Kross and Priest hold him down. Brody King charges in with a running senton onto AJ’s midsection, crushing him against the floor.
Balor (whispers into AJ’s ear):
“We break bones to break spirits. See you in Hell.”
Dark Reign disappears into the shadows as officials scream for help. AJ writhes in agony, clutching his ribs.
Commentator: “First Orton… now Styles? Dark Reign is systematically dismantling the icons of IGPW. This isn’t about matches anymore — it’s war.”
MATCH 12: Malakai Black vs AJ Styles – Hell in a Cell Qualifier
A tactical chess match unfolds between two masters of striking and submission. AJ Styles dazzles early with rapid-fire kicks and his patented Phenomenal Blitz. He locks in the Calf Crusher, wrenching Malakai’s leg and testing his limits.
Malakai withstands the pain, counters with methodical strikes, and times the “Black Mass” — a spinning heel kick — perfectly to the back of AJ’s head mid-air during a Phenomenal Forearm attempt.
Black covers for the victory as AJ crashes to the mat.
Winner: Malakai Black
MAIN EVENT: CM Punk (c) vs Swerve Strickland – World Championship
The energy in the building is electric as two of the most compelling stars collide for the Iron Grip World Championship.
Swerve Strickland explodes out of the gate, darting with lightning speed, landing a series of House Calls that stagger Punk. He follows with a crisp Brainbuster and a Top Rope Swerve Stomp that brings the crowd to their feet.
But Punk is the veteran. He absorbs the punishment, using old-school ring savvy and vicious strikes to slow Swerve’s momentum. Near the climax, Punk sets up for the GTS, but Swerve counters, nearly finishing him with a driver off the top rope.
Suddenly, the arena erupts as the Hurt Business—Bobby Lashley, Carmelo Hayes, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin—storm the ring, surrounding Punk and Swerve, weapons in hand.
The ring becomes a war zone:
- Punk strikes Cedric with a GTS that echoes through the arena.
- A brutal knee to Shelton Benjamin floors him.
- A fearless suicide dive takes Lashley into the barricade, buying Punk precious seconds.
Swerve hesitates, clearly torn, giving Punk the opening. Punk ascends the ropes and launches an Avalanche Pepsi Plunge onto Swerve. Without missing a beat, he lands a devastating GTS.
Punk covers. The referee counts to three.
Winner and STILL World Champion: CM Punk
