Texas may officially “Be Back” and kicked the door down as a dominant program of The SEC as they wrecked The Big House with a victory over the defending National Champions of the Michigan Wolverines.
It was mostly Longhorns throughout the day and it started with Gunner Helm with a reservation for six with a 21 yard touchdown catch. Jerrick Gibson also takes it in for a 7 yard touchdown. Also Bert Auburn nails a 26 yard field goal and just before the half Matthew Golden with a 5 yard touchdown catch in the end zone making it 17-3 Texas at the half.
Michigan was able to get a touchdown late in the game courtesy of Semaj Morgan with a 31 yard touchdown reception.
Quinn Ewers ends the day with 246 passing yards, 24/36, and 3 touchdown passes. Gunnar Helm led in receiving for the Longhorns with 98 receiving yards on 7 receptions and a touchdown.
